Legendary Prices March 13, 2026
We exit presale mode today and as expected there are some drops in listed prices for the newest set of cards.
Average Market Price Trend
TCGPlayer has exited presale mode and as expected we are seeing a little bit of a dip as everyone can now post cards instead of only brick and mortar stores.
Significantly, the slope of the drop so far is not nearly at the rate of Secrets of Power. Sealed boxes of A Lawless Time are still seeing the market price rise although that could be a trailing indicator as there are now some boxes listed lower than the market price. Those lower box listings are still at $90 and higher which should be considered a pretty good early sign for the strength and health of the new set. There have also been online chat reports of some local stores running out of sealed product which could be a contributing factor as well.

More details including all of the per set averages can be found on the Porgonomics page of the site.
** Reminder that the TCGPlayer Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the overall trend section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.
Top of the Market
Constructed Lightsaber fall down the top 10 list a bit Anakin Skywalker as they have been overtaken by a bunch of new cards.
Lawbringer, Rey, The Stranger and Single Reactor Ignition were generally picked to be hot cards prior to release. The potential surprises here might be the Cad Bane and The Mandalorian. Be careful though with any of these new cards in at least the next few days as prices jump around a ton. Just between our data pull and the writing of this post, Lawbringer for example is about half of what the chart below shows.
Funny point is that our API call is calling Cad by the name “Cade” at the moment. We’ll probably end up hard coding something to fix that just in case. Obviously we know which card it actually is.

Check out the Market Snapshot to see all of the market data in one handy place. Just make sure to select the correct set from the drop down, and pick the correct toggles for rarity and variant. In addition to the legendary cards there is also data for the rares, showcases, prestige, and sealed product.
Biggest Winners
The big gainers for the week are pretty similar to the top of the standard market chart. Again though be careful as even a few hours between our data pull and this post being written has cause some pretty big swings in individual cards as people wake up and rush to the bottom with their listings to get the sales.

Biggest Losers
The chart for cards with losses this week can pretty much just be ignored. Every single card on this chart is from A Lawless Time and they are simply adjusting from presale crazy prices to price points that are quite a bit more logical. This grouping plus extending beyond just the top ten in this category is also the reason for the drop in the overall legendary standard index price.

Cheapest Market Price
At this point we’re dropping the lowest listed legendary from the cheapest tracking. There have been plenty of anomalies of crazy cheap items getting listed. Also the shipping vs. no shipping costs throw things off a ton when a card that costs a quarter will actually end up close to two dollars. Market price is therefore the best way to track dollar value futility.
Rule With Respect gains some ground in its race to maintain the lowest market value. Only a penny drop, but at these levels that is still almost 3% coming off the price.
Important to note that there are a ton of A Lawless Time cards that technically don’t have market values yet. Those show up as zero dollars, but we consulted with some porgs and they agree that simply not having a value is cheating and should not count.
