Legendary Prices August 28, 2026

Things are down, but that means we see a tie for the lowest ever legendary market price… which is maybe fun in some way.

Average Market Price Trend

The average lowest listed price for legendary cards has dropped a bit and is charging down towards the $4 mark at this point. This is somewhat expected as we are enough past the release of Ashes of the Empire that those cards are mostly settled in and we tend to see a general tailing off of each new set.

The unfortunate part is that while there are still plenty of valuable chase legendary cards, and with two thirds of cards legal in Premier, seeing us get to an overall low point does not feel very great. The point things have hit is now at the prolonged valley that we saw towards the end of 2025 and into the beginning of 2026 prior to A Lawless Time’s release. Ideally this is just what we should expect as the standard low point, however the coming weeks will be more informative.

Don’t forget our Card Price History tool if you want to see data for a single card over time.
Plus full pricing details including all of the per set averages can be found on the Porgonomics page of the site.

** Reminder that the TCGPlayer Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the overall trend section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.

Top of the Market

The big three from ASH are all up there but not longer in the one through three spots as Single Reactor Ignition has snuck into third. We do still have the nice handy web page track listing and market prices for big ASH cards and will keep that in place.

Another one to keep an eye on here is The Mandalorian – Devoted Rescuer. This one is obviously much better in a meta without free pings removing shields. There are a few listed from one seller that are cheaper than the below chart shows but they are being called lightly played condition.

(*Note: Thanks for visiting this page and the new ASH Watchlist page. The page hits, associated Google ads, and TCGPlayer affiliate links help pay for our server costs.)

Biggest Winners and Losers

Already mentioned The Mandalorian above. Definitely a few others on the winner side that are worth paying attention to. Specifically, Anakin’s Podracer bounced back after a couple listings were undercutting things last week.

The big three ASH cards are down. Easily could be an overreaction to the Cad Bane ban. All of them are still great cards and with none of those getting suspended it’s a little surprising that they didn’t go up. Could be that they are just waiting on finding the best new home but expect them to be around and valuable for quite some time.

Cheapest Market Price

Rule With Respect hits its 24th week at the “top”. No other card is even within a nickel of it at this point.
The other fun news with this card is that it has now tied the lowest ever market price for a legendary. Profundity from back in February of this year now needs to share that title.
