Legendary Prices September 4, 2026

Maybe, just maybe, we see a flattening in the overall trend for the past week.

Average Market Price Trend

If you zoom in on the below graph… and squint a little… and maybe use your imagination… and you have a very positive attitude about things… then perhaps we are looking at the start of a bottom plateau.

Still incredibly early to say for sure if we are seeing a flattening. It’s at least a possibility within the realm of reasonable things to draw that conclusion looking at the data. We are already at the lowest average price for legendaries that we’ve ever seen. Simply there must be some bottom where the prices should level out in theory.

We’re also at interesting point in the current set’s meta. Normally we’d see things settle in after the first handful of weeks and stay relatively consistent until the drop of the next set. However with the Cad Bane suspension we could still see some shakeup of meta relevant card prices. The other thing to note is that there could just be so many low cost legendary cards at this point that even major spikes in a few top end cards won’t shift the overall average very much.

Don’t forget our Card Price History tool if you want to see data for a single card over time.
Plus full pricing details including all of the per set averages can be found on the Porgonomics page of the site.

** Reminder that the TCGPlayer Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the overall trend section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.

Top of the Market

The big three from ASH are all at least in the top four with Single Reactor Ignition still sitting in third. We do still have the nice handy web page track listing and market prices for big ASH cards and will keep that in place.

Rey – Skywalker is making some moves and could be a card to keep an eye on.

Biggest Winners and Losers

Anakin’s Podracer had a really stellar bump last week and is again right up there as the number two gainer.

Lots of very good cards on the down swing this week. It’s a little sad to see three Spark of Rebellion legendaries still dropping enough to be in a list like this dubious one. Something like the Millennium Falcon – Piece of Junk is cheap enough that it could be worth grabbing a few of them just in case there is ever a reprint even though that seems like a very unlikely thing to happen.

Cheapest Market Price

Rule With Respect hits its 25th week at the “top”. One more and it’s halfway to a year. It’s hard to believe that this record could ever be broken. It’s like the Wayne Gretzky career assists record level of bad SWU legendaries.
