Legendary Prices October 9, 2026

Homeworlds is officially released. We’ve got some real data starting to compile and are seeing the expected set release spike.

Average Market Price Trend

We’ve got a set release spike. That’s the good news. It was also expected since we’ve seen this exact thing happen for each set release since Porg Depot started tracking card value data.

A slight reason to potentially temper our enthusiasm a bit…
When we limit the graph of data to only the Premier legal sets we can see that the spike is significantly smaller than what we saw most recently with Ashes of the Empire.

This may not be a good or bad thing, but rather just a thing that is a thing. The spike being smaller is probably fine as long as the drop-off afterwards is also smaller. The math also means that each subsequent set’s spike upon release would in fact be smaller because of the total pool of cards being larger and how the mathematics of averaging work out.

Don’t forget our Card Price History tool if you want to see data for a single card over time.
Plus full pricing details including all of the per set averages can be found on the Porgonomics page of the site.

** Reminder that the TCGPlayer Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the overall trend section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.

Top of the Market

One thing we can say for certain is that it does not look like anything from Homeworlds is going to unseat Chimaera and Pre Vizsla anytime soon.

Nightbrother at least is up there for now, although as more product is opened we should expect that to drop off a bit.

Biggest Winners and Losers

Not much commentary on the winner this week. Some of these moves could be meta related. Some of them could simply be market corrections.

The downside is 100% all just market corrections. Nobody was going to buy a Giant Gorax at $45.

Cheapest Market Price

Invincible retains its spot at the “top” for now. At two weeks it still has half a year to get to the record set by Rule with Respect.
