Tamaryn Barcona

This fella can deploy for 5 cost and get you a potential 14 stat points total after the experience tokens. Even if you have to defeat your own credit, 5 cost for a 5/7 and another experience on another unit isn’t too shabby. The really awesome play is smacking your opponent’s credit though, getting the same benefit for your side of the board while stifling them a little.
It’ll be unreliable to plan on using your opponent’s credit, so the most likely play is to use one of your own credits for the buff. There is so far only one way to generate credits in Vigilance/Command and that is with Krennic as a leader. There are likely better things to do with your credits, but putting a pile of stats onto the board isn’t horrible. If you have 2 credits out you can use 1 to play Tamaryn and another to use his buff on the resource 4 round.
It’ll probably come down to how the meta plays out in the early rotation world. If credits are prevalent and the extra stats are good, then maybe this guy could find a place.
Cloud-Rider Veteran

This Cloud-Rider is similar to the LOF Aurra Sing in that it is 2 resources for a 1/4 that can deal 3 damage. In most cases, this is not as good as Aurra Sing. It can push 2 damage past a Sentinel, but it’s very poor at trading with another unit. It can’t even defeat a spy token!
It’s still a 2 cost unit that deals 3 damage so if there is a hero aggression aggression aggro deck, and with units like Sabine rotating out, the Cloud Rider could make the cut, until something better comes along.
Sullustan Sapper

In a world of 2 cost 2/4 units, a 4/2 Ambush for 3 resources seems bad. The stats and abilities don’t line up well in whatever the future meta holds.
Thermal Detonator

You can play a Thermal Detonator on a Sentinel and make a tough unit to get through early in the game, but then you won’t want to attack with it until your opponent claims initiative which doesn’t seem very good. The added stats are bad for 3 cost at +1/+1. There’s not too much to love about this one. Maybe you can play it in Krennic Red and immediately sacrifice the upgraded unit for a credit and some damage to the opponent’s board. That doesn’t feel good either. Leia wouldn’t have gotten very far with her Thermal Detonator is Jabba knew how useless it was.
