Legendary Prices January 9, 2026

Technically a down week, but not by very much. We’re still riding a pretty stable market.

Average Market Price Trend

Down just 2 cents over the past week, the overall chart is still relatively flat since and stable since late November (11/23/25).

The per set averages can be seen here in blue. Also shown are the market price averages for rare cards which we are now tracking. More details can be found on the Porgonomics page of the site.

Spark of Rebellion which had been on a nice run has started to flatten out. Shadows of the Galaxy and Legends of the Force have been trudging along but slowly gaining. Twilight has been consistently flat. Jump and Secrets have been headed downward.

** Reminder that the TCGPlayer Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the overall trend section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.

Top of the Market

Queen Amidala remains at the top of the market despite dropping a little bit this week. This just further illustrates how highly valued she is as a card currently. The drops could be attributed to a few different things. For starters there are just more packs being opened so the supply is going up. Those packs could be organic sales and also tournament prizing. Speaking of tournaments, since the Queen is part of the PQ prizing that adds to the pool as well in terms of overall cards available even though it’s technically a different version of the card.

Check out the Market Price Snapshot to see all of the market data in one handy place. Just make sure to select the correct set from the drop down, and pick the correct toggles for rarity and variant. In addition to the legendary cards there is also data for the rares, showcases, prestige, and sealed product.

Biggest Winners

HK-47 was the biggest loser last week. Well that’s completely reversed course and it’s back up higher than it’s been in recent weeks.

Biggest Losers

The cards with the largest drops are for the most part not currently used widely in the current meta and also are majority from the 2024 sets that are about to rotate out of Premier in a couple of months. While this is not currently surprising, expect to see at least some 2024 cards rocket back up if the Eternal format is well supported in organized play.

Cheapest

Planetary Invasion has tied Home One – On My Mark with a lowest listing at $0.10. However, as we mentioned last week, that listing is not the first one that you will find on TCGPlayer due to shipping costs potentially being free with other listings.

We may still shift to the Lowest Market Price moving forward as it seems a bit more fair to track that way for this category. Plus for the Profundity fans out there, it’s still “winning” that race.

Lowest Listed Price Without Shipping = Home One – On My Mark (1/2/26) & Planetary Invasion (1/9/26); $0.10
Lowest Market Price = Profundity – We Fight!; $0.30 (1/2/26)
