Legendary Prices January 2, 2026
We’ve got an up week. Rejoice… Just not too much since still pretty flat in the longer term.
Average Market Price Trend
We aren’t exactly soaring just yet, but the market for legendary cards is rising very slightly. It’s up to $4.52 on average now across all sets and has been relatively stable since late November (11/23/25).

The per set averages can be seen here in blue. Also shown are the market price averages for rare cards which we are now tracking. More details can be found on the Porgonomics page of the site.

** Reminder that the TCGPlayer Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the overall trend section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.
Top of the Market
Queen Amidala drops a little bit, but stays on top of the market. She is clearly going to be a solid card for play and likely a valuable one as well for quite some time. Cards that when played put themselves and other things into play are good; Go figure.

Check out the Market Price Snapshot to see all of the market data in one handy place. Just make sure to select the correct set from the drop down, and pick the correct toggles for rarity and variant. In addition to the legendary cards there is also data for the rares, showcases, prestige, and sealed product.
Biggest Winners
Luke Skywalker – Jedi Knight made a significant jump this week. If you haven’t noticed that heroic command vigilance decks are good in the current meta then you haven’t been paying attention much. Makes sense then that Luke would start to move upwards as he generally gets included in those.

Biggest Losers
HK-47 is a very solid card. It’s just got no real meta deck using it currently. Also not exactly on a downward trend as it has been bouncing up and down a few dollars over the past month or so.

Cheapest
Home One – On My Mark has leapfrogged Profundity and taken the lead. Kind of. The lowest listing is currently at $0.10, however you need to jump to page three of the listings to see it and it includes $1.31 worth of shipping costs. Technically a cheaper one is available at $0.59 if you get enough from that seller to get the free shipping.
We have been capturing market data for Legendary cards. You can see both charts below. We may shift to the Lowest Market Price moving forward as it seems a bit more fair to track that way for this category. Plus for the Profundity fans out there, it’s still got a commanding “lead” looking at the data that way.
Lowest Listed Price Without Shipping = Home One – On My Mark; $0.10 (1/2/26)
Lowest Market Price = Profundity – We Fight!; $0.30 (1/2/26)
