Showcase Prices December 29, 2025

Set averages did something pretty weird for SWU… They all went up. Certainly a good thing to see, and potentially not something that has ever happened or at least has not occurred while Porg Depot has been tracking data.

** Regardless of price there are fun ways to get a showcase leader.

Set Averages

Twilight of the Republic didn’t move all that much but was still a small gain at +0.47%.
Each of the other sets went up over 1% with Spark of Rebellion leading the way at over 9%.

Secrets of Power made a move away from what we expected. It tacked up a bit closer to the trend line set previously by LOF and JTL. Will be interesting to see what it does in the next couple of weeks and wether it will continue to close that gap, or move back to a more parallel path.

Current Top 10

Cad Bane jumped up significantly again this week and took over the top spot on the list.

Yoda dropped down one spot even though his price was unchanged.

Winners and Losers

Boba Fett – Collecting the Bounty was the biggest gainer for the week. However that lowest listed one was a damaged card so much of the jump should get discounted a bit. The more interesting part is that it was not just clearing out that artificially low item but also going above the low listing from two weeks prior. People could be preparing for Eternal format, or a last minute un-suspension of the leader prior to rotation.

Not too many surprises near the bottom end of the market. Perhaps the biggest item of note is the relative smallness in size of the largest lowest listing price drops compared to the largest gains in the chart above. This of course explains the more macro level all set averages going up this week.

“The Finn Zone”

Grand Inquisitor – Stories Travel Quickly is the new “top” card in The Finn Zone. He leapfrogged Admiral Holdo but that is more from her gain than his drop.

There are some solid contenders on the list so it will continue to be a fight for the next few months most likely. It’s also very reasonable that the floor for even super unplayable leader showcase cards is right around $20-25. For that low of a price many find that they are fun to pick up for collecting or casual play.

The Finn Zone Records

  • Longest Reign at the “Top” = Rio Durant; 14 weeks
    • Runner up = Rose Tico; 8 weeks
  • Lowest Showcase Price Near Mint = $20.00 Rose Tico (8/4/25) and Admiral Holdo (12/22/25)
  • Lowest Showcase Price Any Condition = $19.99 Admiral Holdo (12/22/25)
  • Largest Count of Zone Members = 23 on 7/21/25 (23/90 = 25.5%)
  • Smallest Count of Zone Members = 8 on 12/15/25 (8/108 = 7.4%)

Additional Notes and Comments

For prior price tracking of showcase and legendary cards please visit the Porg Depot Pricing Page.

Keep in mind that all showcase cards are relatively low volume in sales when compared to Legendary and Rare cards. A single listing and sale could skew some of this data. TCGPlayer tries to compensate for this by listing a “Market Price” in addition to the actual price of available listings. The TCG site refers to this as “This price point is compiled from recent sales completed on TCGplayer.com. TCG Market Price is updated as transactions complete and reflects the best suggested retail price of a product.”
