** Regardless of price there are fun ways to get a showcase leader.

Daily Market Report

If you are interested in a daily email with up to date market price data from TCGPlayer, check out the Porg Depot Daily Market Report announcement and details. For now the report covers daily changes to legendary and rare cards. Showcases will hopefully be added in the future as soon as the porg programmers wake up from their naps.

Set Averages

Set averages are mostly the same this week with very subtle moves within a couple of dollars. Spark of Rebellion, and Jump to Lightspeed saw their averages slightly up, while Shadows of the Galaxy and Twilight of the Republic had their averages go down just a tad.

Legends of the Force is the one set that moved a bit more. It fluctuated back to around where it was two weeks ago. At this point should not really be viewed as overly worrying as that is still a relatively new set and will be prone to swings like that.

The big news is that the Spark of Rebellion Luke and Vader showcases finally have some good data to share. These have been as high as $500 a piece on Ebay in the past week or so since the Galactic Championship. Both of them may be settling into the mid $300’s range at least for the moment. Because these are a finite number and also since they are two of the most iconic characters in Star Wars, expect them to stay relatively high.

At least for now, we will track the “SOR” Luke and Vader as their own set since they cannot be opened in packs.

Current Top 10

The new Vader and Luke are clearly in the lead for most expensive showcase leaders currently. Again this is not surprising at all. Likely to be many weeks before another card jumps above the father son pair and potentially may never happen. However “never” is a very long time.

Winners and Losers

Kit Fisto leads the pack this week. Possibly tied to a couple of things. First, Kit was pretty cheap to begin with and has spent some time in The Finn Zone. Second, there has been some buzz around a Kit Fisto Green force deck.

Admiral Trench is another leader with some buzz. FFG recently revealed the first details of the Secrets of Power set. One of the key features of the upcoming set is the Plot mechanic. Plot allows you to deploy a card from your resource row when your leader is deployed. Given that Trench is capable of deploying multiple turns per game, there is some speculation that Plot will combo with him in some fascinating ways.

Kylo Ren – We’re Not Done Yet dropped pretty significantly this week. The massive jump the prior week was due to the Bothan Network’s reveal of the spicy deck with Kylo as the leader at the Galactic Championship. Most likely this is a normal pull back after the fast run up. There are also likely people that were sitting on some showcases and jumping into the seller side of the market to just increase the supply and force the prices downwards.

“The Finn Zone”

Rose Tico has replaced Rio as the “leader” in this dubious section of the showcase leader market. She also sets a new record for lowest listed at only $20 and there are even two from the same seller at that price point. That seems insanely cheap for a showcase and expect that specific listing to not last terribly long. However, it’s also Rose, so who knows really. She could go even lower.

The Finn Zone Records

  • Longest Reign at the “Top” = Rose Tico; 8 weeks
  • Lowest Showcase Price = Rose Tico; $20.00 on 8/4/25
  • Largest Count of Zone Members = 23 on 7/21/25

Additional Notes and Comments

For prior price tracking of showcase and legendary cards please visit the Porg Depot Pricing Page.

Keep in mind that all showcase cards are relatively low volume in sales when compared to Legendary and Rare cards. A single listing and sale could skew some of this data. TCGPlayer tries to compensate for this by listing a “Market Price” in addition to the actual price of available listings. The TCG site refers to this as “This price point is compiled from recent sales completed on TCGplayer.com. TCG Market Price is updated as transactions complete and reflects the best suggested retail price of a product.”
