** Regardless of price there are fun ways to get a showcase leader.
Set Averages

While last week was extremely stable for the set averages, this week we are seeing the majority of sets moving in the $5-$10 range. Granted some of these are up and some are down.
The really nice one to see on the positive side of things is the average from A Lawless Time. A $8.63 bump for the average and over a 5% increase means we are seeing the trend at the week 13 mark turning upwards. One interesting possible correlation is that Secrets of Power also started moving upwards after its release, initial drop off and post release dip.
At present we still project A Lawless Time’s average to finish in the $150-$200 range by week 20.

Current Top 10
Boba Fett – Collecting the Bounty stays on top with no change. There was a sale on 5/29. That sale was for the same price as the current lowest listing which is why the needle hasn’t moved at all. However seen from a different perspective the needle has moved a ton because the prior sale on TCGPlayer was for $215. That marks a pretty staggering increase in actual price points for sales.
Darth Vader – Unstoppable also crested the $300 mark this week to give us a second leader in that lofty space.

Winners and Losers
Jabba the Hutt – Crime Boss posted an impressive nearly 66% gain this week and now is in the low $200’s.
Dedra is also now in the $200’s with an over $50 gain this week.

On the downside, Jango Fett lost quite a bit and dropped from over $275 down to just over $190.
Somewhat luckily is that four of the biggest losers this week are already Finn Zone members.

“The Finn Zone”

The cards in this part of the list have left the meta. They are on a journey to a mysterious realm of disappointment, like a bad Twilight Zone episode where every card is just… meh. This is now officially where all disappointing Star Wars: Unlimited showcase cards go to live in eternal mediocrity. If a card dips below Finn in value, it has entered The Finn Zone, a place where underwhelming abilities and missed potential reign supreme.
Morgan Elsbeth remains in command of the zone for a second week.
Also notably, the total admiral count is back up to two as somehow Admiral Trench has returned. (Note: we need to check into some of these “NA” recorded records. Trench has a number of listings so it is unlikely that he actually ever left the zone and much more likely that he was somehow hiding in the data.)

Additional Notes and Comments
For prior price tracking of showcase and legendary cards please visit the Porg Depot Pricing Page.
As always, keep in mind that all showcase cards are relatively low volume in sales when compared to Legendary and Rare cards. A single listing and sale could skew some of this data. TCGPlayer tries to compensate for this by listing a “Market Price” in addition to the actual price of available listings. The TCG site refers to this as “This price point is compiled from recent sales completed on TCGplayer.com. TCG Market Price is updated as transactions complete and reflects the best suggested retail price of a product.”
