ICONS: Preview Review 6/1

Did not expect that we would get previews of cards from Icons at the end of May given that the release order was updated and the mini set won’t be available until the holiday season after Homeworlds. Neither did RTChomp if you saw his video from over the weekend. (Caution that there is a bit of NSFW language so at least wear headphones.)

However, we did get a bunch of news via the official website and images coming from the UKGE event over the weekend.

The cards that we are seeing already seem pretty fun.
Especially, this little guy…

Obviously this is blurry but there is zero doubt that the Spark of Rebellion R2-D2 will be returning to print.

So while we should potentially give up hope that R2 will be a leader any time soon (#WheresR2Leader) we will at least get an incredibly versatile unit back in Premier play.
