ASH: Preview Review 5/28

This little droid comes from an incredible scene of the Mandalorian show. Seeing an R2 unit morph into a contraption with arms and legs is incredibly cool.

At a cost of 3 for a 1/5 unit it is under the curve a bit on stats. The bonus for the cost is the 4 advantage tokens that could be on it is pretty cool. At least he’s swinging in for more the first time.

So this card is probably a middle of the road common.

Here’s the real kicker…
How is this sucker getting pronounced?

During the FFG stream yesterday it sure seemed like the game designers were saying the word “Ferry” as fair-ee. Like little wings, flying around, Tinkerbell style.

I would have called it fur-ee, like people dressed in plush costumed doing naughty adult things.

Some of the other Porg Depot team members insisted it would be a feh-ree. Feh as in Fett.

So which is it? Fair-ee, Fur-ee, or Feh-ree?

At least from my point of view “Fur” is correct. I ran this by the wife and kids and they admit that I am consistent in saying Starburry, Murry Christmas, and Furry. My one daughter insists that these three words should sound different and insists that it should be “Mary Christmas” to which I told her that’s the mom and not the holiday. Being Jewish, this confused her quite a bit.

Anyway the family now thinks that along with being a weird gamer dad, that I also speak funny.
