Showcase Prices March 16, 2026

Good news and bad news on the week. The former probably outweighs the later.

** Regardless of price there are fun ways to get a showcase leader.

Set Averages

A Lawless Time showcases were expected to drop. They did. This would really be the case for any new set since the number of available showcases going up is just a supply increase which will drive down the prices generally barring something crazy happening with overall demand.

Here’s the good news…
The new set averages dropped significantly less than at two of the prior sets and the third has a big asterisk associated. A Lawless Time dropped $76.00 for the week. This is over 25% less than the drops for Jump to Lightspeed ($106.94) and Secrets of Power ($103.84). Legends of the Force technically had less of a drop in its first week ($54.58) however it also started significantly lower ($176.54 vs. $249.82 for LAW).

Unclear only two weeks in what this will do to the long term pricing for A Lawless Time showcase leaders.

Another thing that should be considered are the so called “god boxes” or “juiced boxes” and the impact that these are having to the showcase market for LAW. We have to assume that the number of each showcase printed is the same as it was supposed to be and just the packaging distribution got kind of wonky such that some boxes have one in each pack and other full cases or sets of cases get completely shut out. This could lead to less people buying the carbonite boxes overall, which would in turn mean less available showcases and in turn higher prices for the ones that are available.

Granted it’s also highly possible that the leaders from the newest set are both better generally in relation to each other, and enter a meta that is wide open because of rotation. Both of these factors contribute to more viable leaders and less new residents to The Finn Zone.

Current Top 10

Boba Fett – Collecting the Bounty just rocketed up to have a lowest listed price bordering close to the $500 mark. This is virtually unheard of in the recent past. However there he is flexing as Eternal becomes a true format. The prices for him just go up from there too and the last sale at the time of writing this was close to $600!!!

Winners and Losers

The new Lando leader pops up with a listing finally. Obviously he’s kind of cheating with the largest gain number going from nothing to something but what else would expect from a notable gambler?

The downside this week is entirely leaders from A Lawless Time. This of course was 100% expected for week two and we’re likely to see additional corrections to the downside over the next couple of weeks.

“The Finn Zone”

Rose Tico stays in command of the zone this week. We haven’t tracked total weeks on this dubious list consecutively but she may have built herself a permanent residence at this point.

No leaders from A Lawless Time making camp yet. Leia is the closest at the moment at $80 but that’s over a 50% drop to get there.

Additional Notes and Comments

For prior price tracking of showcase and legendary cards please visit the Porg Depot Pricing Page.

Keep in mind that all showcase cards are relatively low volume in sales when compared to Legendary and Rare cards. A single listing and sale could skew some of this data. TCGPlayer tries to compensate for this by listing a “Market Price” in addition to the actual price of available listings. The TCG site refers to this as “This price point is compiled from recent sales completed on TCGplayer.com. TCG Market Price is updated as transactions complete and reflects the best suggested retail price of a product.”
