Tobias Beckett

Cheers to the FFG developers. It feels like they are just testing the community to see what could be brewed up and served with this leader.
The leader ability is extremely counterintuitive although potentially very fun. Round one, throw down a Porg, send the little guy packing, get the credit and then play a 3 cost unit. Really anything one above the curve is going to be pretty easy to do. At a minimum you could attack on the resource 5 turn, give your opponent the exhausted unit for a credit, then flip and get another credit.
The new Rio Durrant unit is now infinitely better. The play line would be to attack with a unit on the 4 resource round, give that over to your opponent to get a credit, slap down the Rio to get that unit back and then replay it for free with a shield.
What do you do with all these credits? You also draw cards for each defeated unit on the flip to dig for something big. What reasonable targets are available to ramp to that don’t have either a hero or villain aspect? Mythosaur? Bendu? We may just not have any good options just yet.
Will Beckett be any good? No idea. It seems highly likely that Beckett should start shopping for a condo in The Finn Zone. However, it’s at least possible that somebody will get drunk enough, put some deck together, and win a PQ with it.
Rhydonium Detonation

Maybe… Big maybe, that this is something worth ramping to with Beckett.
Here’s the issue is that you could really stunt your side of the board. If the line is playing Detonation, your opponent just bounces their largest/best unit, and replays it, you are then with just your leader. Potentially that is going to be really bad.
Two-Faced Troig

Generally, spending 3 resources to give your opponent a 2/4 sentinel in exchange for just getting two credits in return would be awful. So unless those two credits will enable you to play something very powerful during the following round or you have a way to easily defeat this unit, he probably won’t find space in your deck. He seems like he is meant as one more potential Beckett support unit and is most likely only playable with Beckett as a leader.
Worth noting, he could be a way to make a friend in a twin suns game.
