Porgonomics: Porg Edition 1/31

Porg Depot has been tracking prices in various ways for quite some time now. Specific cards go up and down depending on changes to the meta shifts. There are ebbs and flows to things as new sets are released. We even see some sharp spikes as a new hot deck wins a qualifier event.

Of course there are cards that drop to mere pennies and stay at that spot basically indefinitely. However, there are very few things that are worth at least one dollar that remain completely stable. One of those cards is the humble hyperspace foil Porg.

Since the release of Legends of the Force the hyperspace foil Porg has fluctuated between $1.24 and $1.41 with an overall average price of $1.33. This is a relatively tight price range that the card floats in.

Hyperspace Foil Porgs are basically the stable coin of the Star Wars Unlimited singles market. One could even make an argument that TCGPlayer should cease to show prices in standard currencies and instead shift to a Porg cost equivalent.

Will be very interesting to see if the new A Lawless Time’s Krennic leader and his ability to yeet a Porg in round one to ramp a credit for free makes any kind of bump here.
