Showcase Prices January 5, 2026
The Secrets of Power average showcase price jumped quite a bit. Rub your eyes though. It’s a bit of a mirage.
Don’t Forget…

** Regardless of price there are fun ways to get a showcase leader.
Set Averages
Secrets of Power’s set average for showcase cards went up nearly 10% over last week. However, don’t get too excited just yet as there is a bit of an anomaly that we’ll dig into below.

With the anomaly in play, we can see the trend line for SEC continuing to track up towards the precedent set by the prior two sets. Again, while this is actual data it is also a bit of a mirage.

Current Top 10
Cad Bane maintained the top spot this week. Yoda and Emperor Palpatine – Galactic Ruler are hot on his heals as they both gained a little bit of ground since our last check in.
Lama Su is an interesting addition to the top ten, but we’ll cover that in the Winners section below.

Winners and Losers
Lama Su. The anomaly of the week. Digging just a tad deeper than the surface level data shows we find that there are four listings. The first three of those are labelled as “Lightly Played” while the fourth one is “Near Mint”. We had previously excluded anything not in the Near Mint category as there were some old listings called “Damaged” and other low condition tags that were throwing off the data. With five lower priced Near Mint sales in the high $30’s and low $40’s ranges over the past week, the cheapest Near Mint one is simply very expensive now. Expecting that we get a few listings in the near future back in the $40-50 range.
A couple other notable jumps over the past week are Han Solo – Worth the Risk and Leia Organa – Alliance General.

A few leaders on the losing side this week could be a bit unexpected. Quinlan Vos, Qi’ra, Sabine, and Darth Vader – Victory Squadron Leader were (or still are) solid meta contenders. At least in Vader’s case he will be Premier legal after rotation so that one is tricky to explain.

“The Finn Zone”

The cards in this part of the list have left the meta. They are on a journey to a mysterious realm of disappointment, like a bad Twilight Zone episode where every card is just… meh. This is now officially where all disappointing Star Wars: Unlimited showcase cards go to live in eternal mediocrity. If a card dips below Finn in value, it has entered The Finn Zone, a place where underwhelming abilities and missed potential reign supreme.
Grand Inquisitor – Stories Travel Quickly holds onto the top spot for a second week. Still quite a way to go before we can think about anything record breaking for him. Plus he’s still got Admiral Holdo and Rio right on his heals.
This also may be our highest Admiral count of The Finn Zone. Admirals Holdo, Ackbar, and Trench are now the proud recipients of the first “Largest Number of Admirals” award. Major Vonreg in shambles at not being promoted.

- Largest Count of Zone Members = 23 on 7/21/25 (23/90 = 25.5%)
- Smallest Count of Zone Members = 8 on 12/15/25 (8/108 = 7.4%)
- Largest Number of Admirals = 3 on 1/4/26 (Holdo, Ackbar, Trench)

Additional Notes and Comments
For prior price tracking of showcase and legendary cards please visit the Porg Depot Pricing Page.
Keep in mind that all showcase cards are relatively low volume in sales when compared to Legendary and Rare cards. A single listing and sale could skew some of this data. TCGPlayer tries to compensate for this by listing a “Market Price” in addition to the actual price of available listings. The TCG site refers to this as “This price point is compiled from recent sales completed on TCGplayer.com. TCG Market Price is updated as transactions complete and reflects the best suggested retail price of a product.”
