Legendary Prices December 19, 2025

We may have hit a nice equilibrium for now. Overall market and set averages seem very stable for the moment.

Average Market Price Trend

While technically the week was slightly down this week, the overall average legendary market price has remained relatively stable. In fact this past two week stretch may have been the longest flat market since early January of this year.

Jump to Lightspeed dropped 7 cents. That was the biggest move for any of the set averages. All of the other sets were within 3 cents of their prior week average.

** Reminder that the TCGPlayer Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the overall trend section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.

Top of the Market

For the top of the list we checked out the Market Price Snapshot.

Queen Amidala remains on top. Her listings are still a bit above her market price which is consistent with her trending upwards over the past 7 days. If the hero command decks continues to dominate with their share of the Planetary Qualifier meta this weekend we expect more of the same.

Check out the Market Price Snapshot to see all of the market data in one handy place. Just make sure to select the correct set from the drop down, and pick the correct toggles for rarity and variant. In addition to the legendary cards there is also data for the rares, showcases, prestige, and sealed product.

Biggest Winners

Queen again. Not only is she at the top of the market price list, she’s also at the top of the list for biggest jump in lowest listing price.

Other notables include Luke Skywalker – Jedi Knight moving back over the $20 price point. It’s also nice to be a Darth as Traya, Sion, and two Vaders are also in the top group of listing price winners.

*Note: The four week changes are not shown above because of the missing data point from PAX Unplugged week. This piece will return next week.

Cheapest

Profundity has lost its place at the top. Not because anything dropped below it but rather it went up over 100% as the lowest listing finally sold.

Planetary Invasion is now up top. We’ll see how long it could sit there and also if it could make a run at the all time low record.

Cheapest Ever Listed Legendary = Profundity; $0.12 (10/3/25)
