Legendary Prices December 12, 2025

Flat things. Bowling alley lanes, kitchen counters, pool tables, hockey arena ice just after the Zamboni completes its task… And this week’s legendary market price average.

Average Market Price Trend

Technically the week there was a blip for one of the days this past week where the average market price went up a penny. However, over the last week, six out of the seven days were right at the same $4.47 average price point. Talk about stability.

Individual sets all moved slightly. JTL and LOF were up, while SOR, SHD, TWI and SEC were down.

Secrets of Power could be still tailing off post release, and recovering from the likely overcorrection last week. Each of the other set moves makes sense given that the 2024 sets will rotate out of Premier in March.

** Reminder that the TCGPlayer Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the overall trend section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.

Top of the Market

For the top of the list we checked out the Market Price Snapshot.

Queen Amidala stays at the top of the list for standard variant legendaries this week. She has cooled off slightly and is back in the $20’s instead of topping $30. This is likely due to people jumping on the chance to sell while the market is hot, plus also just more product being opened and additional copies floating around out in the World.

Quick note on rares…
We mentioned last week that Karis Nemik was hitting around the $15 point. He’s actually up a bit over the past week and is not closer to $15.50 than $15.00. Absolutely one to keep an eye on, especially since the recently revealed Cassian from A Lawless Time is Rebel tagged and that trait could be getting continued support as we roll into 2026.

Check out the Market Price Snapshot to see all of the market data in one handy place. Just make sure to select the correct set from the drop down, and pick the correct toggles for rarity and variant. In addition to the legendary cards there is also data for the rares, showcases, prestige, and sealed product.

Biggest Winners

Not a ton of commentary on the winners this week. However, it is nice to see a card like Millennium Falcon – Piece of Junk hang in there with cards that are not set to rotate. Maybe some are excited to see it go, but it is a great card and will likely remain relevant in Eternal format.

Cheapest

Profundity stays right in its spot at the “top” of the cheapest legendary list.
The rather interesting part is that people do in fact buy them, and for more than the lowest listing. This is almost certainly due to people needing to fill up their cart to get free shipping from a seller, or the cart optimization just swapping in a more expensive version to reduce the number of total sellers.
Maybe they are just to collect at this point? Will be funny to see a PQ winning deck with a Profundity contained anywhere in the 50.

Cheapest Ever Listed Legendary = Profundity; $0.12 (10/3/25)
