Legendary Prices December 5, 2025
Don’t look now, but if you squint just enough we’ve got an uptick. Why? Long live the Queen.
Average Market Price Trend
The week started out with an average legendary market value of $4.45. After the first couple of days it hit an all time low of $4.40. Then something fun happened… it went up!! Finishing the week at $4.46, up 6 cents from the low point but also ending the week a penny into the green. Unlikely to be very statistically relevant, but it’s a very interesting development.

The individual set averages help us see what is happening in clearer detail. All of the 2024 sets went down a bit. Jump to Lightspeed up slightly and Legends of the Force down a bit don’t quite cancel each other out but offset somewhat.
The big story is the $0.94 rise of Secrets of Power for average legendary market price. Not sure that we’ve ever seen that big of a single week upwards direction movement for a set before after the very initial release steps. Possibly it happened back with Spark of Rebellion, however we were not yet tracking price data at that time.

** Reminder that the TCGPlayer Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the overall trend section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.
Top of the Market
For the top of the list we checked out the Market Price Snapshot.
LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!!!
Queen Amidala is the story. Her market price has gone up almost $9 in the past seven days. That is pretty staggering. Not only is she the only standard legendary with a market value North of $30, she’s also the only standard variant legendary over the $20 mark as well.
Wondering if she will be seen in top tier meta decks in the current qualifier season? Seems a pretty safe bet to assume that will in fact be the case. Would not be shocked to see major percentages of players running the Queen in a variety of Data Vault decks.

Quick note on rares…
We don’t generally cover rare cards but it is interesting to see Karis Nemik hitting around the $15 point which is well above any other current standard rare card. Also safe wager that he will be heavily played in qualifiers as well and likely paired in many cases with Queen Amidala in Command Aggression decks.

Check out the Market Price Snapshot to see all of the market data in one handy place. Just make sure to select the correct set from the drop down, and pick the correct toggles for rarity and variant. In addition to the legendary cards there is also data for the rares, showcases, prestige, and sealed product.
Biggest Winners
Queen Amidala was not one of the big winners for lowest listed price mainly because she was already pretty up there with listings close to matching her market value.
We are seeing some other Secrets of Power legendaries creep up on the lowest listing side. Couple of Darths (Traya and Sion) plus Figure of Unity.

Cheapest
Profundity remains solidly in the “top” spot of the bottom grouping. The Secrets of Power cards may still be a bit too new to crack into this “elite” group.
Cheapest Ever Listed Legendary = Profundity; $0.12 (10/3/25)
