Look at Me, I’m the ISB

A spicy Andor character that everyone loves to hate and loves to love, Dedra Meero is an amazing villainous character brought to life by the talented Denise Gough.

Finally appearing in Star Wars Unlimited, her new leader card is something people probably cannot wait to get their hands on.

Potentially the best turn one play for this leader would be sitting back and waiting for your opponent to blink first. Let them play a unit onto the board and then start the ISB interrogation with ISB Agent (SOR). Follow that up with Dedra immediately putting them on the defensive trying to answer the difficult interrogation question of whether or not to take even more damage to that first unit or give the bureau leader more tools with which to work in the form of another card in hand.

Elite P-38 Straighter (TWI) can fill a similar role in later rounds as well, plus it will be interesting to see what other new Secrets of Power cards may also fill this same type of niche.

Then pressing the card advantage angle with Syril Karn, and other hand disruption like Pillage (SHD) could really make the pressure mount and force your opponent quickly into top deck mode.

Will Dedra Meero be in the top ranks of the new Secrets of Power meta? Hard to say at this point only a few days into preview season. She will absolutely see play as a fan favorite, almost certainly will be an irritant to many players, and could be quite imperial menace.
