Showcase Prices September 1, 2025

It may be Labor Day in the US, however the porgs don’t know that. We’ve still got them mining pricing data.

** Regardless of price there are fun ways to get a showcase leader.

Set Averages

The set averages stayed about as level as we’ve seen. The biggest change was Twilight of the Republic going up over $3.50 followed by Legends of the Force going down nearly $2.

Current Top 10

During the month of August, the Chancellor Palpatine listings below $200 simply sold through. What is left are four listings starting just shy of $250, and quickly jumping to the $300+ range and topping out just shy of $400. Don’t believe this is based on tournament results at all and simply just an exhausting of the cheaper listings. If you’ve been sitting on one, perhaps not a bad time to get it listed for sale.

Winners and Losers

Chancellor Palpatine, mentioned above, made a pretty staggering 41%+ increase this week.

The next couple on the winners list are at least due to meta relevancy. Kylo Ren – We’re Not Done Yet is still something to factor in going into any event even though the surprise of the deck from the Galactic Championship has worn off. Also, Quinlan Vos has been making a bunch of waves in Planetary Qualifiers over the past couple of weeks so it’s not a surprise to see him moving up as well.

The list of leaders that headed down over the past week remains unsurprising. Most of them are not seen in top 8’s of competitive events. The couple exceptions are Cad Bane and Emperor Palpatine, both of whom are still meta worthy and with their still relatively high prices and small drops are likely just due to additional listings getting added to the market.

“The Finn Zone”

Rio retains the “top” spot in the zone this week. Four more weeks to go before he would tie Rose Tico’s record.

The Finn Zone Records

  • Longest Reign at the “Top” = Rose Tico; 8 weeks
  • Lowest Showcase Price = Rose Tico; $20.00 on 8/4/25
  • Largest Count of Zone Members = 23 on 7/21/25

Additional Notes and Comments

For prior price tracking of showcase and legendary cards please visit the Porg Depot Pricing Page.

Keep in mind that all showcase cards are relatively low volume in sales when compared to Legendary and Rare cards. A single listing and sale could skew some of this data. TCGPlayer tries to compensate for this by listing a “Market Price” in addition to the actual price of available listings. The TCG site refers to this as “This price point is compiled from recent sales completed on TCGplayer.com. TCG Market Price is updated as transactions complete and reflects the best suggested retail price of a product.”
