LOF Showcase Art Tier List

Welcome to the highly subjective, mildly ridiculous, and totally porg-approved ranking of the Legends of the Force showcase leaders based on nothing but their art.

No mechanics. No meta. Just pure vibes. Who’s striking the fiercest pose? Who looks like they just walked off a holodrama set? And who may or may not have been photobombed in their moment of glory?

Let’s dive in, wings flapping, opinions flying, and not a single gameplay stat in sight.

S Tier

  • Darth Maul – The stare he’s giving over the top of the double bladed saber is amazing. So intense. Not a character you would want to meet alone in a dark alley.
  • Mother Talzin – In a set where most leader art are force users holding a saber, having a witch brewing over a cauldron is very unique. It’s well done and you can almost smell the fumes.

A Tier

  • Barriss Offee – Pretty cool use of portrait mode with the out of focus background.
  • Darth Revan – This is one of the best in the set. Missed opportunity to have him with both sabers though knocks him down a notch.
  • Qui-Gon Jinn – Ripped right from a movie frame, this captures an epic saber battle in a single painting.

B Tier

  • Supreme Leader Snoke – The shading and the slouched pose are great. It makes somebody sitting in a chair actually seem menacing, but he’s also just kind of sitting in a chair.
  • Ahsoka Tano – World between worlds background is well done.
  • Rey – Holding a saber that way just looks dangerous.
  • Kylo Ren – You can feel the cold and the saber glow is spot on. Something about the face though which is either the artwork or just how Adam Driver looks generally.

C Tier

  • Cal Kestis – Nice photobomb there BD-1.
  • Kanan Jarrus – Decent effort at making a blind Jedi seemed poised for action.
  • Kit Fisto – Not a bad one, but some more head tails in action would have been cool.
  • Avar Kriss – Nice artwork with a solid Force hand. However a little too much on the anime side.

D Tier

  • Third Sister – When the best part is the background shading and the cape fluttering you end up in this tier.
  • Grand Inquisitor – Missed opportunity for a spinning blade.
  • Obi-Wan Kenobi – Another outstretched Force hand. Just some other leaders higher up are doing it better.

E Tier

  • Morgan Elsbeth – This is a fine picture. It’s just not terribly menacing since she’s just kind of standing there which is also what the non-showcase has her doing.
  • Anakin Skywalker – A very cartoony take on Anakin. The Twilight of the Republic showcase of him kind of set a high bar.

Final Thoughts

Out of the 18 leader showcases we’ve got 13 lightsabers, with 14 saber blades. There are also 6 outstretched hands denoting some use of the Force, 29 eyes, 3 masks, 1 droid doing a photo bomb, 1 profile portrait, and a whole lot of cool art.

Every artist poured their heart, soul, and probably a few kyber crystals into these pieces. This ranking isn’t meant to throw shade. Really, we’re just having fun poking at tier lists, celebrating great art, and pretending our porg panel of judges didn’t pick favorites based solely on shiny lightsabers and brooding stares.

May the brushstrokes be with you.
