Card Treatment Tier List

With more prestige treatments on the way and another year’s convention exclusive, it’s about time we got to ranking the different card border treatments available in Star Wars Unlimited.

S Tier

Convention Exclusives 2025 The only thing keeping these from being S+ tier would be the coloring of the aspect icons. While understandable that they are shaded the same color as the rest of the card, it would have been helpful to have them actually colored correctly and stand out slightly.

Convention Exclusives 2024 – Similar to the 2025 version, it would have been nice to have the aspects colored correctly. At least with this version being shaded in all black seems thematic for these villainous characters.

A Tier

Showcase Leaders

World Between Worlds – If you are not sure what this phrase means, you need to catch up on some Rebels episodes.

Prestige (JTL) – Setting the standard for prestige cards of future sets this style seems to have been universally loved especially with some of the art pieces stretching over multiple cards.

B Tier

Prestige (POF) – We haven’t seen too many of these yet, but they are nicely done. Downside is the way the border frames the card and stops the artwork running all the way to the edges.

Hyperspace – The original chase variant set a standard by which all of the other variants are measured.

C Tier

Weekly Organized Play – Some of these work better than others. The alternate artwork is generally a nice touch.

D Tier

Foil and Hyper Foil – While the shininess is fun, the curving and getting into issues at tournaments is definitely the opposite.

F Tier

Just any of the above but with Finn.
