Legendary Prices April 4, 2025

Jump to Lightspeed pricing may have stabilized. Also looks like there is indeed a bit of an uptrend happening.
Market Price Total and Average Values
Last week there was the inklings of an uptrend for the average market price of legendary cards. At this point it looks like that is indeed the case. That market average got close to the $9 mark at $8.94 back on 4/2/25. Aside from the Jump to Lightspeed prices hitting the averages and causing a one day spike on 3/16, that mark from a couple days ago is the highest we’ve seen since nearly a month ago in early March on 3/9.

As we noted last week, the totals and averages we show are based on the TCGPlayer market pricing. The actual lowest listed and sales related data could still be taking some time to catch up.
Looking at each set individually, Spark of the Rebellion continues to lead the way with a small gain on the week. Twilight and Jump also showed some gains. Shadows was the only set moving down but is still roughly where it was four weeks ago.

** Reminder that the Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the Total and Averages section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.
Top of the Market (Hyperspace and Standard)
Standard versions of Kylo’s TIE Silencer and the SOR Falcon remain the only non-hyperspace card at the top of the combined chart this week. As for Jump to Lightspeed cards, The hyperspace Devastator is the sole representative in the top ten from that set.

Those standard variants of the Falcon and Kylo’s TIE are of course leading the way when the hyperspace items are filtered out. We also see a couple more Jump cards peaking in with Planetary Bombardment and the new Darth Vader – Scourge of Squadrons.

** Note that the hyperspace variants are only shown in their individual top 10 list as we focus on the standard variants.
Winners and Losers
Jump to Lightspeed cards are clearly moving. The new Devastator, new Darth Vader, and Planetary Bombardment leading the way this week. All three posted gains for at least the second week in a row, with the later two making it a nice three week streak.
One thing that is nice to see is that nearly all of the top weekly gainers are also up over a four week span. Now There Are Two Of Them being the one exception.

At the bottom end we are seeing things that are not meta currently, moving out of the meta, or simply not Cunning aspect cards. If you were looking to fill out play sets of the SOR Luke and Vader, now could be the time to do it. We don’t generally report on it, but at the time of writing this post, the 2024 Convention Exclusive Vader even has a play set listed by one seller under the $150 mark.

Cheapest
For Legendary cards under $1, Planetary Invasion continues to retain its spot as the cheapest for a fifth week. At least it’s maintaining its record setting lowest listed price of $0.30 and not dropping farther.
