Legendary Prices May 30, 2025

We’ve got a pretty obvious new trend. Unfortunately for collectors it’s going the wrong way. However it is great for players.

Market Price Total and Average Values

Something crazy happened yesterday as the average standard variant legendary dropped under $8 for the first time to $7.76. Luckily that was extremely temporary and it’s back up to $8.36. Granted the overall trend since around the beginning of May has been downwards.

** Reminder that the Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the Total and Averages section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.

Top of the Market (Hyperspace and Standard)

Luke’s SOR Hyperspace keeps the top spot for yet another week. Luke has been holding that top position for eight weeks since back on April 11.

** Note that the hyperspace variants are only shown in the overall top 10 list as we focus on the standard variants.

Standard variants only, we still see Luke SOR at the top of the chart as the only card in the $40 range, and just making that cut at all. The drop off is pretty steep with only three cards in the $30 range, and another three in the $20 range.

Winners and Losers

Not too many actual winners this week. Only six standard variant cards went up by $1.00 or more. Home One – Alliance Flagship led the way moving up close to $7.

Percentage wise there were a few cards that jumped quite significantly, however The Ghost – Heart of the Family (included below) plus cards like Profundity and Evacuate were all very low cost to begin with so any amount of bounce ends up seeming very large relative to the prior week’s price.

There are a great many cards on the losing end this week. Luckily after Krayt Dragon dropping nearly $6, most of the other lowest listing price reductions are a bit smaller.

Cheapest

Five cards under $0.50 now.

Planetary Invasion hasn’t so much regained its top spot but rather the Profundity jumped out of it. We’ll see if it can hold on again and tie or beat it’s record of ten weeks straight.
