Showcase Prices May 19, 2025

Rose is no longer the cheapest showcase available. The largest gainer on the week is not one we’ve probably ever mentioned related to price. Ackbar won a PQ. What is going on this week?

** Don’t forget, regardless of price there are fun ways to get a showcase leader.

Trends

Average showcase pricing dropped this week. Spark of Rebellion was the only set that went up and it did so on the backs of some leaders that we haven’t talked about much in a price tracking context. (Details for this are below.)

Current Top 10

Qi’ra maintains the top spot for a second week despite a bit of a drop. Still easily the most pricey showcase leader and the only one over the $300 mark.

Also, this is the first time in quite a while that there is no leader named Fett in the top five spots.

Winners and Losers

The top gainer on the week is… Cassian Andor? Jumping over 63% this week is no small feat for a leader that has at times been on the verge of The Finn Zone. Diving into the actual sales there have been seven over the past week, all of which are in the high $70s to mid $80s range. The current lowest listing is more a factor of the bottom part of the market getting sold through rather than any major meta shifts. This is also potentially attributed to the Andor Season 2 ending and people just wanting to collect.

Here’s a look at Cassian’s lowest listing over time. This just illustrates how much of an out of norm jump he just made.

Grand Inquisitor made another big jump this week. Not long ago (three weeks) he was in The Finn Zone as one of the cheaper showcase leaders available. Over a 190% gain though and he’s just shy of crossing the $200 threshold and could even start bordering on breaking into the top ten.

In fact Mr. Inquisitor has not been this high since back in November when Porg Depot started capturing weekly data.

Here’s the opposite end of the weekly changes.

Quilan Vos continues to slide as the meta evolves post Jango suspension.

The rest of the weekly loser list is not terribly surprising filled with those that were over inflated and now getting undercut on the market listings or leaders that just are simply not very good.

“The Finn Zone”

Rose is no longer the cheapest showcase available. She had a nice run of eight weeks in a row holding that dubious honor. We’ve got a new wisecracking wheelman in that “top” spot as Rio Durant pushed just slightly below Rose’s price. Let’s see how long he can maintain that perch or if it will be a short lived reign.

The other interesting note is that with Ackbar winning a qualifier, will he make a move and attempt a Finn Zone escape?

Additional Notes and Comments

For prior price tracking of showcase and legendary cards please visit the Porg Depot Pricing Page.

Keep in mind that all showcase cards are relatively low volume in sales when compared to Legendary and Rare cards. A single listing and sale could skew some of this data. TCGPlayer tries to compensate for this by listing a “Market Price” in addition to the actual price of available listings. The TCG site refers to this as “This price point is compiled from recent sales completed on TCGplayer.com. TCG Market Price is updated as transactions complete and reflects the best suggested retail price of a product.”
