Legendary Prices May ~9, 2025

Little bit of a market drop for legendary prices. Also a bit of a delay in reporting due to an AC/DC concert. Data is accurate as of yesterday morning.

Market Price Total and Average Values

In the past couple of weeks the uptrend flattened out a bit and now in the last 4-5 days it has dropped some. While the drop crosses the bottom trend line that we’ve been tracking with for over a month now it may not be a reason to panic. We’ve seen similar drops and recoveries even as recent as early April.

** Reminder that the Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the Total and Averages section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.

Top of the Market (Hyperspace and Standard)

Luke’s SOR Hyperspace dropped again this week but continued to maintain its top spot on the chart.

Somewhat interesting is that four out of the top ten are standard variants following closely behind their hyperspace versions. Luke Skywalker SOR, Poe Dameron, Millennium Falcon, and Darth Vader SOR all remain highly playable cards in a variety of decks and their prices of both versions show it.

** Note that the hyperspace variants are only shown in the overall top 10 list as we focus on the standard variants.

Looking at just the standard variants, the top eight all dropped this week. Some, like Poe Dameron especially, are still up decently over a four week span, so some of this is likely just standard pull back as more listings are added to the market undercutting existing ones.

Winners and Losers

Now There Are Two of Them gained the most on the week notching close to a $4 bump and significantly over 40%. Clearly Porg Depot is biased but we 100% feel that this is a direct result of the spoiled Porg and Curious Flock cards and their ability to help cheat out larger creatures earlier.

Cunning by this data set took a huge hit. However, this was due to a single listing being very low at under $6. That list has since sold and the going rate on Cunning is back over the $10 mark. This just goes to show that it’s always good to keep an eye out for deals and steals on cards that you might be looking for as you never know when a significantly cheaper listing could hit the market.

Cheapest

Planetary Invasion continues to retain its spot as the cheapest for the tenth week running. This is despite a massive 72% gain, which in fairness was only 18 cents. A couple other cards have joined the sub 50 cent mark at this point as well.
