Porgonomics: Prestige & Variants 4/11

Welcome back to my prestige price tracking! If you are interested in following the market on your favorite treatments for your favorite unique ships, you have come to the right place. I have been tracking Hyperspace, Hyperspace Foil, Prestige and Prestige Foil cards for 5 weeks now. Things have definitely calmed down significantly and seem to be very stable. However, I will say that this data was collected shortly after the banning of Jango, Triple Dark Raid and DJ. So I will be curious to see if any ships rise or fall over the next few weeks as a new Meta begins to take shape.
Lets start with a look at the past five weeks. Percent change overall is pretty low, but normal Hyperspace cards have dropped the most on average.
These average trends are what I am aiming to track long term. Seeing certain cards spike or drop is interesting, but my original goal for tracking this info is to try and see any long term trends. I’m especially interested to see when Prestige prices might start to trend up when the Carbonite boosters are all opened.
Biggest Losers
Hyperspace Foil Profundity is our biggest loser. The 9 cost seems to be holding it back from any serious play, and its price is reflecting that.
The Prestige printings of Razor Crest and Mist Hunter are also hitting some lows. If anyone can cook up a competitive list involving Bounty Hunters and their ships, I’m all ears. The card draw and bounce abilities seem like some great value engines.
Biggest Winners
Sabine’s Masterpiece is our overall winner here, appearing twice with the Hyperspace Foil AND Prestige printings. This is also the ship’s second week on the winners table.
Other Thoughts
Aside from a few exceptions, it seems that these flashy printings of cards have stabilized. So it’s a pretty safe time to get in and get a copy of your favorite ships.
