Showcase Prices April 7, 2025

All eyes are on the FFG stream coming on Wednesday of this week which could have a dramatic impact on showcase prices. Jango is in the crosshairs and may get suspended which will have an impact on him and also on which leaders could fill that vacuum and see spikes in their prices.

** Data gathered from TCGPlayer at ~7:30 am EST. Full data set here.

** Don’t forget, regardless of price there are fun ways to get a showcase leader for your own.

Trends

The average lowest listed price average dropped for three of the four sets this week. Shadows of the Galaxy was the sole set to see a gain on average and it was an extremely modest one.

Current Top 10

Boba Fett (SOR) stayed at the $300 mark again this week and is now in the top spot due to alphabetically order. Jango dropped down to number two, but more on him below in the Loser section.

Winners and Losers

Driven by the Cad Colossus decks Cad Bane saw a sizable jump of over 21% to be the top gainer on the week by dollar amount. This is based on seven sales in the last week which is decent volume for a showcase on TCGPlayer.

Major Vonreg has seen eight sales over a seven day span. With over 25 listed for sale, there is plenty of inventory available and the prices of those listed do not have major gaps up between them.

Let’s talk about Jango again… Last week there were six of them listed on TCGPlayer starting at the $450 mark from a seller with no volume and going up very steeply from there. Today there are five with large gaps in pricing. Starting at $300, jumping to $360, then right under $400 and then well over $400. There were two sales over the past week, both below the $300 point. With the stream from FFG coming on Wednesday we could see some dramatic changes and a sudden undercutting of many Jango showcases getting listed to move.

“The Finn Zone”

Wat Tambor and Hondo Ohnaka have escaped from the Finn Zone after a brief one week stay. They are replaced this week by Captain Phasma and Wedge Antilles. Rose Tico continues to stand by her man and maintained her spot at the “top” of the zone this week while also remaining the only sub-$40 showcase.

Additional Notes and Comments

For prior price tracking of showcase and legendary cards please visit the Porg Depot Pricing Page.

Keep in mind that all showcase cards are relatively low volume in sales when compared to Legendary and Rare cards. A single listing and sale could skew some of this data. TCGPlayer tries to compensate for this by listing a “Market Price” in addition to the actual price of available listings. The TCG site refers to this as “This price point is compiled from recent sales completed on TCGplayer.com. TCG Market Price is updated as transactions complete and reflects the best suggested retail price of a product.”
