March Madness – Elite Eight Results

The dust has settled on the Elite Eight, and what a round it was. Legends fell, upstarts rose, and one matchup came down to a single vote – proof that every Porg in the galaxy counts.
Here’s how it all went down:
Sabine’s Masterpiece over Millennium Falcon (55-54)
Call it the upset of the bracket or maybe just a changing of the guard. In the closest matchup we’ve seen yet, Sabine’s Masterpiece pulled off a one-vote victory over the most iconic ship in Star Wars history. The Falcon had the legacy, the stories, the scruffy nerf herders… but Sabine brought the paint, the flair, and just enough firepower to make it count. The old legend is out. The new art is in.
Blue Leader over Home One (75-32)
This wasn’t just a win, it was a statement. Home One, the Rebellion’s heavy hitter and tactical anchor, was no match for the speed, precision, and popularity of Blue Leader. Maybe it was the underdog energy, maybe it was that classic fighter pilot grit, but Blue Leader flew circles around the Mon Cal flagship and cruised into the Final Four like it had a direct line to the Death Star plans.
Devastator over Chimaera (63-44)
Thrawn had his tactics. He had his strategy. But in the end, none of that mattered when the Devastator came through like a battering ram. Vader’s personal Star Destroyer continues to live up to its name, steamrolling one of the Empire’s most cunning commanders and sending the Chimaera to its doom. Power wins this round and the Devastator isn’t slowing down.
Fett’s Firespray over IG-2000 (79-29)
IG-88’s ship came in calculated, methodical, and deadly. But Fett’s Firespray came in and absolutely flattened him. This wasn’t close. This wasn’t polite. This was Fett reminding the galaxy that he’s the top hunter, and everyone else is just trying to catch up. The Firespray heads to the Final Four with confidence, swagger, and enough firepower to make sure no one forgets the name.
