March Madness – Elite 8

Only eight ships remain. Every one of them has dominated their competition so far, but the road ahead is anything but easy. The weak are gone, the underdogs have proven themselves, and now, every matchup is a battle between giants. These ships have carved their way through the bracket with speed, firepower, tactics, and sheer will—but now, they face their greatest challenges yet.
Only the best will make it to the Final Four. Who keeps flying, and who gets left behind? Make sure to consider each match carefully and use the voting poll for each one.
Match 1: Falcon vs Sabine’s Masterpiece
Two ships that know how to make an entrance, but only one will survive to the next round. The Millennium Falcon is the ultimate survivor, slipping past Star Destroyers, outrunning the Empire, and somehow making it through every insane mission its pilots throw at it. It’s fast, it’s tough, and it has history on its side. But Sabine’s Masterpiece is no ordinary fighter—it’s an artist’s creation, a ship with the speed, firepower, and Mandalorian ingenuity to punch above its weight. The Falcon may have the experience, but Sabine’s Masterpiece has the momentum. Will the old legend keep flying, or is it time for something new to take the spotlight?

Match 2: Home One vs Blue Leader
The flagship of the Rebel fleet faces off against the sharpest strike craft in the bracket. Home One is the definition of command and power, leading fleets into battle and crushing enemy forces with precision. It has Admiral Ackbar’s tactical genius behind it and enough firepower to level a battlefield. But Blue Leader isn’t here to go down without a fight. This starfighter squadron led the charge on Scarif, proving that skill and bravery can take down even the strongest defenses. Will Home One’s overwhelming presence control the battlefield, or will the speed and precision of Blue Leader find a weak spot and exploit it?

Match 3: Devastator vs Chimaera
A clash of Imperial titans. The Devastator has lived up to its name in this tournament, leaving nothing but destruction in its wake. Vader’s personal Star Destroyer is built for brute force, overwhelming enemies with sheer power and crushing anything in its path. But brute force has its weaknesses, and if anyone can find them, it’s Grand Admiral Thrawn. The Chimaera isn’t just another Star Destroyer—it’s a ship led by one of the greatest tactical minds the Empire has ever known. The Devastator has been unstoppable so far, but Thrawn has beaten impossible odds before. Will brute strength win the day, or will strategy and cunning prove superior?

Match 4: Fett’s Firespray vs IG-2000
A bounty hunter battle where there’s no room for second place. Boba Fett’s Firespray is the most infamous bounty hunter ship in the galaxy, built for pursuit, combat, and absolute dominance. It’s a ship that has been through it all and come out stronger. But on the other side stands IG-2000, piloted by the ruthless assassin droid IG-88. Unlike Fett, IG-88 doesn’t rely on instincts or experience—this is cold, calculated precision, an AI-driven machine designed to eliminate anything in its path. One is a veteran hunter, the other a relentless killer. Does Boba’s skill and legacy win the day, or is this the moment where the droids take over?
