Legendary Prices March 21, 2025

Jump to Lightspeed legendary singles are mostly down which was expected. There are some incredible gains for a few cards though which are worth keeping an eye on and could be a meta indicator.

Total and Average Values

We are making a little bit of a change in how we track total legendary values. You can see on the charts below, the one on the left has a dramatic uptick when Jump to Lightspeed is added into the mix. This is just simple math and adding more into a total makes it higher. Moving forward we will track more towards the chart below on the right for average value of legendary cards by market price. There is still a bump when JTL is added, however it is able to fall in line with prior data and make trend tracking possible over a time period that spans a new set release.

Needless to say, when the looking at the new version of the graph on the right, JTL has not done much to alter the trend in market prices on TCGPlayer. We can clearly see the overall decline continuing.

Taking a look at individual set average market prices shows some expected insights. Jump to Lightspeed saw a steep drop which was to be expected. Spark of Rebellion had a nice little bump, probably as people pick up older cards to use in new decks that may emerge in the JTL meta. Shadows stayed roughly the same and Twilight was down a tiny bit.

** Reminder that the Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the Total and Averages section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.

Top of the Market

All of the top ten most expensive legendary cards went up this week, and some rather significantly. Had to spot check some of these as we initially thought our data pull could be malfunctioning.

Millennium Falcon SOR as a standard variant is now the leader in the clubhouse after nearly doubling in lowest listed price. The hyperspace version was already up there in price but is now actually cheaper.

The hyperspace version of Planetary Bombardment is the sole Jump to Lightspeed card remaining in the top 10 overall for standard and hyperspace cards.

Looking at standard variants only and a second Jump card sneaks into the top 10. Devastator – Hunting the Rebellion clocks in at number seven when the list is filtered this way.

** Note that the hyperspace variants are only shown in their individual top 10 list as we focus on the standard variants.

Winners and Losers

Mentioned above in the top ten section, the Falcon got the largest change over the past week by dollar amount at +$20.90. While the Devastator from SOR was close in dollars at +$20.42, that number was a whopping 213.6% increase over the prior week, and it’s up a staggering 328.29% over a four week period.

Both of these drastic jumps almost have to be significant. The Falcon was already played in Han SOR Yellow, but with Kazuda having potential and additional options out there with pilots, expect to see tons of Falcons in the meta and not just because there are three different ones. Villain side with the Devastator the easy spot to see increased interest here would be with Admiral Piett joining the leader ranks.

At the bottom end we expected this week to have mostly Jump to Lightspeed cards. Nothing terrible concerning with this as the massive influx of singles due to box openings increases the supply so much that the price listings basically have to go down. This week and next could be the correct time to grab the singles you are missing after opening your first batch of new product.

Cheapest

Planetary Invasion retains its spot as the cheapest Legendary for a third week and has set a record for cheapest legendary card we’ve seen so far at $0.30.
