March Madness – Sweet 16

The opening rounds are over. The pretenders have been left in the dust. What remains are 16 of the fiercest, fastest, and most formidable ships in the galaxy, each one clawing for a spot in the Elite 8. The matchups are tougher, the stakes are higher, and the Porgs are watching closely.

Some ships have cruised to easy victories. Others barely scraped by. But in this round, there’s no room for close calls—only dominance.

Only eight will move on. The rest will be left behind, another casualty of Porg-style madness. It’s time to choose.

Match 1: Millennium Falcon vs Black 1

The legendary Corellian freighter versus the Resistance’s elite T-70 X-wing. One is the most famous ship in the galaxy, the other is flown by the best pilot of the sequel era. Will Han’s luck hold out, or will Poe’s precision prove too much?

Match 2: Profundity vs Sabine’s Masterpiece

A towering Mon Calamari warship against a custom-painted, high-powered starfighter. One delivered the Death Star plans, the other is a flying work of art. Can raw power crush creativity, or will the artist outmaneuver the juggernaut?

Match 3: Tantine IV vs Home One

The iconic blockade runner against the Rebellion’s flagship. The first ship we ever saw in Star Wars meets the one that led the charge at Endor. Does speed and history win out, or is Ackbar’s tactical might too strong?

Match 4: Blue Leader vs Razor Crest

The leader of the original X-wing assault on Scarif goes up against Mando’s rugged gunship. Blue Leader has precision, the Razor Crest has durability. Does heroism win, or does Beskar-plated stubbornness carry the day?

Match 5: Corvus vs Devastator

A versatile Imperial Raider takes on Vader’s personal Star Destroyer. One is fast and adaptable, the other is pure, overwhelming force. Does the Corvus outmaneuver, or does the Devastator do exactly what its name suggests?

Match 6: Chimaera vs Vonreg’s TIE Interceptor

Grand Admiral Thrawn’s flagship faces off against the First Order’s most elite dogfighter. One has legendary tactics, the other has speed and firepower. Will strategy overcome reflexes, or will Vonreg’s TIE slip past the Empire’s finest?

Match 7: Mist Hunter vs Fett’s Firespray

A bounty hunter battle for the ages. Zuckuss and 4-LOM’s Mist Hunter against the most infamous ship in the underworld. Does the apprentice outfox the master, or does Boba Fett add another tally to his record?

Match 8: Shuttle ST-149 vs IG-2000

An Imperial transport against IG-88’s deadly assault ship. One is built for secrecy, the other for destruction. Can a simple shuttle find a way through, or is IG-88 about to rack up another kill?
