Legendary Prices February 14, 2025

Absolutely a downward trend over the past few weeks on a macro level. Digging in and there are some bright spots or at least some things that are remaining stable.
Total and Average Values
The value of a single copy of each legendary’s standard version TCGPlayer Market Value across all three sets is down another 1.2% from last week to a total of $484.49.
Last week we were thinking that there was the start of a downward trend but maybe things had stabilized a bit. Unfortunately this week we are confident enough that there is in fact a trend pressing things downward.
There was one weird data point on February 12, however we are going to chalk that one up to being an anomaly.

On the average Market Price tracking side, Shadows of the Galaxy went up ever so slightly over the past week. Both of the other two sets dropped and accounted for the bulk of the continued dip overall.

** Reminder that the Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcasted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the Total and Averages section above, however show both data points in the charts below, and sort those charts based on the lowest listed for top and bottom of the market. Percentage changes are also based on lowest listed currently.

Top of the Market
We’ve added a new data point to the individual card tracking for this week. There are now four week dollar and percentage change values in addition to the single week data point. The idea here is that showing the slightly longer term difference could help illustrate trends versus just week to week fluctuations.
Luke Skywalker’s hyperspace variant is a good example of this. While the card saw nearly a 3% drop in lowest listed price over the past week, it is nearly unchanged from where it was four weeks ago and technically up 0.02% since then.
Another interesting mover on the hyperspace list is Supreme Leader Snoke. He is up $7.28 over the past four weeks with most of that gain, $5.18, occurring just in the last week. This could point to an upcoming solid weekly gain as he continues to rise, or alternatively could mean that he is over priced in the short term.
This extra calculated data point is something that we’re interested to keep an eye on.

On the standard variant side, the biggest note is the choppy trend of the Millennium Falcon. Down significantly over a four week period and nearly the same amount over the last week… Digging into that we see a drop on 1/24, a spike back up on 2/7, and then back down today. Ping ponging price on this one and absolutely something to watch.

** Note that the hyperspace variants are only shown in their individual top 10 list as we focus on the standard variants.
Winners and Losers
Modest gains by dollar value for a few cards near the top of the list. Devastator could easily be seeing a rise due to the Jump to Lightspeed previews and the potential usage in an Admiral Piett deck.
Now There Are Two of Them jumped up slightly, but is still down over the last four week period. This is likely just a rebound from last week.

Aside from the Falcon which we mentioned in the section above, the other interesting one to note here is Vigilance. While nothing Earth shattering itself, the other three double aspect legendary events from Spark of Rebellion also seem to be on the way down. One hypothesis on those cards is that because they are named specifically for each of the main four colored aspects and with the rotation news, these could be the most likely candidates for cards to be reprinted in a future set. If they were put into the seventh set then these aspect defining events would continue to be legal in Premier play.

Cheapest
A couple small gains at the bottom of the list, but everything here is still down decently over the past four weeks. So far the Jump to Lightspeed legendaries seems pretty viable compared to some of these so it will be interesting if anything from the new set cracks into this bottom group in a few weeks when it releases.
