Showcase Prices Feb 10, 2025

As we charge towards the end of the Planetary Qualifier season, nobody seemed to be buying tons of showcases to pump up the market on a Super Bowl Sunday that saw the Eagles dominate. Showcases continue to drop in price while the Lombardi Trophy was hoisted.

All Showcase Trend

After the small bump from shifting to tracking near mint or better condition cards only, the downward trend continues.

Twilight of the Republic showcases were the only set to move up this week. However they are still down significantly on average from a month ago.

Current Top 10

Seeing no change in the top four slots of the market is something new in our tracking. Not terribly relevant statistically, but at least an interesting anomaly.

Winners and Losers

Nala Se as the biggest winner of the week is not something we ever expected to report. There it is though with the only double digit dollar increase of the week at +$16.98 and +18.26%.

Kylo Ren and Sabine Wren cannot agree on how to properly spell their surname. They can both be at the top of the loser list for the week though with a near $29 and near $25 drop respectively.

Race to the Bottom

Lando Calrissian continues his slide to the bottom but did not gain on Jyn Erso as she extended her “lead”.

Keep in mind that all showcase cards are relatively low volume in sales when compared to Legendary and Rare cards. A single listing and sale could skew some of this data. TCGPlayer tries to compensate for this by listing a “Market Price” in addition to the actual price of available listings.
