Shootout : Bodhi Rook vs Bazine Netal
The battle of the discarders. The Imperial defector goes up against the First Order spy.
Bazine comes out swinging as a tremendous round one play, especially if you start with the initiative. Being able to make your opponent discard their potentially only round one or round two play can be a massive speed bump in them getting their strategy rolling. Bodhi on the other hand stumbles a bit out of the gate with a stat to cost ratio that is a little off the resource curve when you consider that there are 3/3 units available for only two cost.
Bohdi’s discard ability is limited to non-units only although has the benefit of being a true discard effect. Bazine’s forced discarded card gets replaced although you have the option to not use the ability after looking at their hand. Little bit of a gamble with her, but can pay off in a big way.
On the aspect side, both of these units are locking you into Cunning. Bodhi has the second Cunning aspect on him too which greatly restricts what deck he’s going into. Bazine on the other hand can get into any Villain side deck depending on the leader and base combo.
Other miscellaneous things…
- Bazine haČ™ some crazy long nails to swipe at people’s eyes.
- Bodhi already has some eye protection at the ready with his handy goggles.
- Bazine easily wins if the contest is a swimming match due to the streamlined outfit.
So which are you putting in your deck?
