Legendary Prices May 8, 2026
The legendary overall price average is heading the way that we’d like to see gas prices go.
Average Market Price Trend
Last week we thought we were hitting a nice plateau in the overall standard legendary price index. Unfortunately that is not the case. We’ve returned to a slow and steady decline and the trend line can be traced back to late March.

What is the renewed slide attributed to?
2024 sets have been going down steadily due to rotation and perhaps Eternal format not quite taking off just yet.
The ones from 2025 are actually pretty solid and stable for the moment over the past few weeks.
The big culprit here is A Lawless Time. The recent high point for the set’s average was $11.05 back on 4/26. As of today it’s down to $10.17. Almost a full dollar drop in close to two weeks. This is rough news.
The glass half full take on the LAW prices is that the average is still above the low point it hit back on 4/10 of $9.72. Ideally this recent slide is some normal ebb and flow of a market, however we are not suggesting this is the case.

Don’t forget our Card Price History tool if you want to see data for a single card over time.
Plus full pricing details including all of the per set averages can be found on the Porgonomics page of the site.
** Reminder that the TCGPlayer Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the overall trend section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.
Top of the Market
Liberty lost ground by a tiny bit again and yet still remains over $40 and more than $10 over the next card on the list, Single Reactor Ignition.

If you are interested in a top list of simply the newest legendary cards from A Lawless Time, here you go. After Liberty and a few cards in or close to the $20 range, there is a pretty severe drop off.

Biggest Winners
Our winner chart is back this week after some data crunching issues. (That’s what we refer to it internally when the porgs decide that the output graphs are a snack.)
Constructed Lightsaber is the only standard legendary card that went up over $3 this week.
It also happens to be the only one that went up more than $2.
Oh and it’s the only one that gained more than $1 as well.
So ignite ’em if you got ’em.

Biggest Losers
Too much sun out on Lothal as Lawbringer is the largest drop this week, losing nearly $7. Granted it’s still at $17 as of this morning so this is probably a bit of a pullback after last week’s giant bump.

Cheapest Market Price
Rule With Respect remains in the “lead” for the eighth week in a row. We haven’t ever recorded a record for longest streak a legendary remained with the cheapest market price, so we’re going to anoint this card with the honor. If we can get the porgs to dig through the archives to verify we will as it’s extremely possible that Profundity should have this dubious title.
As for new A Lawless Time cards… Hondo Ohnaka still has the lowest market price. Maz Kanata is now beating him on the lowest listed with shipping ($2.15 vs. $2.30). This later set of values probably makes sense just due to the height disparity.
Again, if you want to check out the other cheap legendaries from a specific set, our Market Snapshot page with the right filters and sort is the way to go.
- Lowest Market Price
- Profundity – We Fight!; $0.27 (2/6/26)
