Legendary Prices April 17, 2026
The slide momentum mostly continues. However there are some bright spots with LAW and a KTOD video may have helped move the market on its own.
Average Market Price Trend
The slide continues ever so gradually this week. The maybe good news is that this continues to be driven by the sets from 2024 and 2025.

The 2024 sets continuing to drop makes some amount of sense. Eternal as a format is still basically new and we are unlikely to see the impact of the suspensions from a couple days ago for at least a few weeks.
2025 dropping is a little trickier to pinpoint as to an exact issue but we can at least narrow it down to mostly tied to a single set. Legends of the Force is holding relatively stable. Jump to Lightspeed is down a little but not too significantly. The real culprit here on the monetary side of things is Secrets of Power.

When we dig deeper into the Secrets of Power cards we can see things like what has happened with Queen Amidala. Before the release of A Lawless Time, the Queen was up there as one of the more valuable legendary cards in any set. As the new Premier meta has developed she has fallen quite a bit. Having Prestige variants and being the prizing for the past meta’s store showdowns also just floods the market with additional variants making her easier to come by overall.

The good news is that A Lawless Time is doing pretty darn good. It of course had its initial release spike and drop. At this point we expect that exact behavior for any new set. Now however we are seeing a very stable market for the legendary cards from the latest set. Also noteworthy is that the rares from LAW are heading upwards ever so slowly.

Don’t forget our Card Price History tool if you want to see data for a single card over time.
Plus full pricing details including all of the per set averages can be found on the Porgonomics page of the site.
** Reminder that the TCGPlayer Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the overall trend section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.
Top of the Market
Liberty remains at the top of the standard variant market this week. However it is losing ground.

If you are interested in a top list of simply the newest legendary cards from A Lawless Time, here you go.

Biggest Winners
Strike up the band. Max Rebo is making some serious moves. More than doubling in price with a 136% jump is going to lead to some platinum records for sure. Wonder if this move has anything to do with KTOD’s BobbySapphire’s video from yesterday with Matt T discussing the Depew PQ winning Avar Kriss Yellow Force deck that included three Max’s in it.
Single Reactor Ignition also continues to climb decently. We remain solid on the stance that this card will be solid well into 2027.

Biggest Losers
Anakin Skywalker – Champion of Mortis is the biggest drop for the week. This is a sentence that we’ve never written before and really did not expect to.

Cheapest Market Price
Rule With Respect is still on “top” for the fifth week in a row.
As for new A Lawless Time cards… Well Hondo Ohnaka is still the closest but at over $1.30 he’s got a long road ahead to get to this lovely vacation spot where legendary cards go to avoid meta play.
Again, if you want to check out the other cheap legendaries from a specific set, our Market Snapshot page with the right filters and sort is the way to go.
