Launching Deck Eval Tool
Who of us hasn’t spent time brewing a fun new deck, but wishes they could dig deeper into some statistics about their creation? How many vehicles are in my Boba Fett deck? Will I draw a turn 1 rebel in my Jyn Erso deck? What’s the point of labeling my lunch in the fridge if the porgs are just going to eat it? We have no answer for that last one, but we can help with your other questions.
Porg Depot introduces the new Deck Evaluator!

Loading the Deck Evaluator will give you whatever option you prefer for importing your deck lists. The most common way is likely to be copying the deck link from SWUDB, pasting it into the search and clicking Import Deck. You also have the option of pasting or uploading your JSON files, which our in-house lawyer, Erin Porgovich (of Porgovich, Porgovich & Skywalker Corporate Law), insisted we provide for completeness.
You can also choose one of the previous 5 decks you’ve evaluated in the pull-down menu to make constant tweaking easy!

After loading your deck, you’ll be greeted with your snapshot showing some general information.
Above the snapshot you’ll see the option to load a new deck, bringing you back to the initial page. You also have a share option, which will give you a unique link you can share in your favorite Discord channel, allowing people to see your deck evaluations!
Did someone share a link to a deck you find interesting? Click the Export JSON button to either download a JSON or copy it to your clipboard to easily import into SWUDB.

The Overview tab gives you some more detailed information from what the Snapshot showed. You’ll see average unit cost, power & HP. Below that you’ll see some monetary information to get an idea of what the deck would cost to build.
At the bottom you’ll see some quantities, which includes Rarity, Traits, Keywords and Aspects. Is 26 Rebels enough for your Jyn deck? Is only 6 Sentinels enough? Is only 3 Cunning cards enough to power Faith in your Friends? Now you have the information you have to make those decisions!
Moving on to the next tab, Card List, gives you……a card list obviously.

This is not just any old card list though! Everyone has their own system of sorting their cards. This tool gives you the ability to display the deck to match your sorting methods, for easy deck building.
Deck View shows a standard list organized by card type. You can also organize by Set, Aspect or Rarity. You can then sort by Name, Cost or any of the previous sorting options.
Do you want to sort by Set and then Aspect? Then do it!
The next tab dives into some Charts. Who doesn’t like a colorful chart?!

You can hover over any of the charts and it will display an exact value.
The final tab will give some draw analysis, powered by the Porg Depot HyPORGeometric Calculator, with some extra options to dig a little deeper based on your deck.

The main view shows you the quantity of cards at each cost. This will dynamically adjust based on your deck, so don’t worry Lando….you’ll see all your bombs there as well!
You can use the pulldown menus to isolate any card type, and any trait in your deck. Want to know the odds of hitting your curve using only space vehicles for your Boba deck? We got you covered.
Are you playing some cards, like Chio Fain, that let you draw more cards, and would like to see how that affects your draw odds? Just click on the +/- buttons to add cards and see how the percentages change. Then, click the Reset Draws at the top, or click – to get back to base level.
(Note, this option is not enabled on mobile yet for space constraints)
There is also a check box at the top right that will tell the calculator to account for any out of aspect cards you have in your deck. You can toggle this since we now have splash bases that may negate the first penalty, but you can see how future ones may be affected.
What will you do with this amount of power at your disposal? Dominate your local SWU night? Win your next PQ? Collapse the Earth into a black hole disrupting space and time as we know it? The future is in your hands!
