Legendary Prices September 19, 2025

Do we even need to tease out what happened over the past week anymore? Most people should be able to guess at this point. Something about objects in motion tend to stay in motion… in the same direction… We’ll have to consult with the Scientific Community of Porgs to hammer out the exact details.

Market and Average Price Trends

The ever so slight downward movement continues. The graph on the left that shows a longer time frame makes it look a bit flatter than maybe it actually is. On the right, the data since 7/1, seems to show the loses to the average market price for legendary cards actually starting to speed up over the past few days.

The one potential upside is that Jump to Lightspeed may be bucking the trend and headed upwards. It’s actually at its highest point since back on June 27th.

** Reminder that the TCGPlayer Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the overall trend section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.

Top of the Market (Hyperspace and Standard)

Here’s the deal with the top of the market… Basically everything in the top 10 seems to be hyperspace cards generally aside from Luke Skywalker – Jedi Knight and Anakin Skywalker – Champion of Mortis. Sure, the standard Planetary Bombardment is hitting the top ten now but mostly the top of the market has not seemed to change much.

Winners and Losers

Planetary Bombardment continues to bombard the market charts in a major way. Another nearly 42% gain over the past week and now topping a 50% gain over the past four weeks.

On the losing end, Darth Vader – Commanding the First Legion is below $20 for maybe the first time ever. Amazing to think that this card even in standard variant form once topped $100.

Cheapest

Planetary Invasion with no movement stays at the lowest price for a legendary card. However, it now has some company at the bottom with Black One – Scourge of Starkiller Base dropping majorly.
