Legendary Prices August 22, 2025
In the past ten days, hyperspace foil Porgs are down 7 cents, but at least the hyperspace foil least Curious Flocks are up by that same amount. The Porgonomics are in balance. Oh and here’s also some Legendary card tracking.

Market and Average Price Trends
Mostly more of the same in the overall average market price trend for standard legendary cards.
However, if you squint just a little bit at the “Since 7/1/25” chart below at the very right most part of the curve, there is maybe, just maybe a day or two of starting to flatten out. Are we stretching here? Certainly. Nice to try to stay at least a little optimistic when possible.

Most of the individual set averages also dropped this week. Jump to Lightspeed was the one exception. Spark of Rebellion stayed as the clear most valuable set when measured on an average legendary market price basis.

** Reminder that the TCGPlayer Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the overall trend section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.
Top of the Market (Hyperspace and Standard)
Do we even need to look at the chart to see that the hyperspace Luke Skywalker – Jedi Knight stayed right up in the top spot where he’s been for quite some time? Even with a pretty big gap down from Luke, Anakin Skywalker – Champion of Mortis with the relatively similar card design to Luke has stayed up near the top as well and this week claimed the second and third spots. The standard version of Luke rounds out the top four. Guess it’s not too tricky to figure out what the couple most powerful and popular units are these days.

** Note that the hyperspace variants are only shown in the overall top 10 list as we focus on the standard variants.
With standard variant legendaries, Luke and Anakin flip flopped this week for the top spot. Force Lightning is in danger of falling from the top ten.

Winners and Losers
Planetary Bombardment and Devastator – Hunting the Rebellion are notables on this list. Those two cards are almost without a doubt rising on the recent success of the Boba Data Vault decks that focus on indirect damage. From early Planetary Qualifier results, that deck has showed a reasonable amount of success and is likely to get copied a bunch in the upcoming weeks.
Cunning and Aggression are also notable. The namesake legendary cards from their respective aspects both are extremely cheap compared to their high prices last year. Porg Depot currently has no information related to post rotation card reprints. If we were to bet on some cards getting included in a 2026 set it’d likely be those two plus their counterparts Vigilance and Command.

On the other end of the spectrum, Force Lightning has been getting clobbered. Disregard the four week change for this one as it’s still got the bugged record showing from 7/25. In a three week span it has dropped over 50%. It was clearly inflated somewhat after Galactics, but the drop could be a bit overblown and there may be deals to be had for this one. Just be careful though and obviously it could just continue downwards.

Cheapest
Final Showdown regained the dubious honor of being the cheapest available legendary card. It is also quite close to being lower than a quarter.
