Showcase Prices August 11, 2025
Luke and Vader showcases are starting to fall in line with more expected values near the top of the charts. There’s also some inklings of a hard control leader making a meta comeback.

** Regardless of price there are fun ways to get a showcase leader.
Set Averages
The set averages for showcase leader lowest listed sale price are holding mostly steady over the past week. While each of the sets did drop none went down by more than $5, and Spark of Rebellion and Jump to Lightspeed were down by less than $1.
The “Spark” Luke and Vader showcases too the biggest hit. This kind of thing is expected and mirrors the prices of showcases that are in the various set packs in the few weeks after a set is released. One thing to keep in mind is that the Luke and Vader showcases from the Galactic Championship prize wall already have their complete supply available in the wild. There simply are none to be found in unopened boxes. This could mean that these two cards hold their value over the long term and eventually start to go up as less of them are available for sale.

Current Top 10

While the new Vader and Luke leaders dropped quite significantly they both remain in the top 10. Vader even retains the top spot for now.
There remain some interesting fan favorites that seem to retain value no matter how little they see high level competitive play. Leia, Darth Revan, and potentially Yoda fall into this group. It is good to see some showcases simply hold value as collectibles.
Winners and Losers

Bossk was the champion gainer of the week. Being below the $100 mark for a couple of weeks in a row was likely a bit devalued. Adding in that hard control has a space in the meta as a way to combat many of the midrange Force decks, and the Bossk Blue control setups of metas past could be making a resurgence.
Morgan Elsbeth’s relatively significant jump over the past week is likely just due to being underpriced for a showcase and not tied to any qualifier results. Granted her ability is a resource cheat so it’s at least possible that she is useful in some deck configuration.

Luke and Vader were already discussed above. Did you miss that part because you have the attention span of a caffeinated porg?
None of the others that dropped over the past week seem too significant. The one of interest could be Qui-Gon Jinn. A few more drops and he risks being in The Finn Zone for starters. He also has potential to be very good depending on future cards printed that could benefit from his ability. Certainly one to keep an eye on.
“The Finn Zone”
The cards in this part of the list have left the meta. They are on a journey to a mysterious realm of disappointment, like a bad Twilight Zone episode where every card is just… meh. This is now officially where all disappointing Star Wars: Unlimited showcase cards go to live in eternal mediocrity. If a card dips below Finn in value, it has entered The Finn Zone, a place where underwhelming abilities and missed potential reign supreme.
Rio regains the “lead” in the zone this week. He and Rose do seem to enjoy swapping spots in the bottom couple of ranks.
Admiral Trench remains one of the zone dwellers to keep an eye on. He’s making a nice run in an attempt to escape this dubious list based nearly entirely on speculation that the upcoming Plot mechanic in Secrets of Power will combo well with his capability to deploy multiple times.
As rotation gets closer and closer, there is a point where some of these leaders could start to see some interesting movements. Major Vonreg for example could benefit enormously as a pilot leader and with cards like Bamboozle rotating out of Premier. We are still about seven months away and time will tell of course.
The Finn Zone Records

Additional Notes and Comments
For prior price tracking of showcase and legendary cards please visit the Porg Depot Pricing Page.
Keep in mind that all showcase cards are relatively low volume in sales when compared to Legendary and Rare cards. A single listing and sale could skew some of this data. TCGPlayer tries to compensate for this by listing a “Market Price” in addition to the actual price of available listings. The TCG site refers to this as “This price point is compiled from recent sales completed on TCGplayer.com. TCG Market Price is updated as transactions complete and reflects the best suggested retail price of a product.”
