Legendary Prices August 8, 2025
Post Galactic Championship the legendary card market is starting to settle down a bit. Luckily so far the changes seem to just be market corrections and not an all out crash.

Market and Average Price Trends
Legends of the Force has been officially released for a few weeks now and we could be settling in after quite the run up in prices.

After the initial release and with the Galactic Championship so soon afterwards it was not super shocking to see the incredible spike in overall average legendary pricing. Likewise, now that the largest ever SWU event is complete product for the latest set has expanded and people are looking to sell cards that may not be as impactful in the current meta as originally expected.
** Reminder that the TCGPlayer Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the overall trend section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.
Top of the Market (Hyperspace and Standard)
The good news is that the top of the market is still mostly up over the past four weeks. This includes hyperspace versions of some of the latest chase cards from Legends of the Force, Anakin Skywalker – Champion of Mortis and Darth Vader – Twilight of the Apprentice.

** Note that the hyperspace variants are only shown in the overall top 10 list as we focus on the standard variants.
We are still manually adjusting the standard version of Force Lightning as the bugged item at $4.50 still exists.

Winners and Losers
Ki-Adi-Mundi – Composed and Confident is the big gainer of the week. He’s also up quite significantly over the past month. The interesting part here is that this Ki-Adi card hasn’t really shown up in any large quantities on any of the top meta lists from Galactics, GenCon, or the first PQs of this set’s meta. Certainly something to keep an eye on.

Darth Vader – Commanding the First Legion continues to slide. Crazy to think that roughly a year ago this was a $100+ card. Most of the other cards pulling back post Galactics make sense as it’s a correction to the run up to that event. Anakin, Constructed Saber, Yoda, Luke, etc.
The one interesting card on the list is HK-47. The pullback could make sense similar to the inflation of the other legendary prices prior to Galactics. Why it is perplexing is that aside from being a cool character the card is basically not used in any top meta deck currently. Granted the card itself is pretty good stat wise and has a nice little bonus ability so it could become a staple at some point in the future for villain aggression decks.

Cheapest
Cin Drallig has the dubious honor of being the first Legends of the Force cards to crack the bottom ranks of the legendary price list. Still wouldn’t mind seeing him in a sealed or draft pool of cards, but for constructed Premier decks he just doesn’t have the juice to be terribly playable.
