Legendary Prices July 25, 2025

What impact is the Galactic Championship having on legendary card listings? We may be seeing some of it already in the run up to the event.

Average Values

Market price averages are up almost across the board. Legends of the Force leads the way going up by over $1. Spark, Shadows and Twilight are right behind that as well. Jump to Lightspeed was the sole set to have it’s average Legendary value drop a bit.

** Reminder that the Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the Averages section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.

Top of the Market (Hyperspace and Standard)

Seems rather difficult currently to crack into the top 10 if you are not Luke, Vader/Anakin, or Poe. Krayt Dragon is the only card on this slice of the legendary card list outside that group of characters.

** Note that the hyperspace variants are only shown in the overall top 10 list as we focus on the standard variants.

Really nice to see some of the new cards from Legends of the Force near the top of the standard variant list. Anakin Skywalker – Champion of Mortis, Darth Vader – Twilight of the Apprentice, Constructed Lightsaber, and HK-47 all seem likely to play a big part in the championship event starting today.

Winners and Losers

HK-47 is doing something. A jump of 228.99%. Over the past week there have been almost 100 of this card sold through TCGPlayer. This is one of the highest individual week volumes that we’ve seen. We are not able to automatically grab sales volume data unfortunately so this is based on manual count compared to just other cards counted in the past and therefore not terribly scientific.

Anakin Skywalker – Champion of Mortis remains one of the Legends of the Force chase cards. A very powerful unit that can be used in both hero and villain decks certainly are contributing factors to his rise in cost.

At the bottom end, nothing dropped too drastically by dollar amount over the past week. The crazy one to see is Cunning which has been on a steady decline for some time. Even standard versions of this double aspect yellow card were in the $30-40 range a year ago when Boba Fett roamed the top tables at tournaments.

Cheapest

On the plus side for Rule with Respect is that while its price is the lowest and has been for quite some time now, at least it is pretty rock solid in terms of stability. There has been some volume for the card recently with sales over the lowest listed. This is due to the way TCGPlayer allows for cart optimization and saving on shipping by consolidating the number of sellers.
