Legendary Prices July 18, 2025
One week into Legends of the Force and we’re seeing the market value of the new cards correct a little bit. Also, the biggest gain on the week could be a foreshadowing of the new meta.
Average Values
After the first official week of Legends of the Force and we’re seeing a pretty steep drop in the average legendary market price. However this was 100% expected. As we moved from a presale state where only verified stores could list cards and into an open market, the influx of sellers and therefore available cards just increases the supply so much that prices have to be forced down.

Not everything is super bleak though. Spark of Rebellion went up again for the third week in a row. Wants to know why?… keep reading.
** Reminder that the Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the Averages section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.
Top of the Market (Hyperspace and Standard)
60% of the top 10 are either Luke or Vader. Luke’s SOR Hyperspace variant keeps the top spot for the 15th week in a row with a pretty decent jump and is back into the $60 range.

** Note that the hyperspace variants are only shown in the overall top 10 list as we focus on the standard variants.
Filtering out the hyperspace, a couple of the new Legends of the Force cards are still cracking into the top 10.

Winners and Losers
Luke Skywalker – Jedi Knight was the biggest gainer by dollar amount by far this week. Seems to point to some heavy Vigilance Hero decks coming to a Galactic Championship near you. This is also a massive reason why the Spark price average is rising.
The Ghost made a staggering 122% increase. Although given that it was only $2 last week and is still down over the past four weeks, maybe this is not terribly exciting.

Down at the other end, the majority of cards dropping over the last week are from the new Legends of the Force set. Totally expected as the TCGPlayer listings opened up from stores that qualify for pre-release sales to now all sellers. This is just a bit of racing to the bottom or at least an equilibrium point.
Kind of stinks to see the new Grand Inquisitor as the biggest drop though since he was announced as part of the prizing for this set’s store showdowns. FFG has not really hit on a special art variant prizing card for showdowns and other events that has become a meta staple. Believe they are getting better picks lately, but still needs some work.

Cheapest
This week we’ve got a two way tie for cheapest legendary between The Invasion of Christophsis and Rule with Respect. Pretty safe bet that the winner of next week’s Galactic Championship won’t be playing either of those cards main deck.

Release Weekend
Hope everyone enjoys their official release weekend. Get the games in while you can as there are only two weeks to go until the first Galactic Championship.
