Special LOF Price Edition July 12
*** If you are looking at this on or after July 13, we have a newer 48 hour update available. More accurate to check that one out.
Seeing some really fun volume in the first day of online single card sales for Legends of the Force.
24 Hour Changes
We are roughly one day after the official Legends of the Force release. This also coincides nicely with the TCGPlayer listings moving from a pre-release status to now be normal listings.
24 hours into the listings being open to sellers beyond just those that are able to have pre-sales, the volume of listings has certainly increased. However the general listed prices of most of the legendary cards has actually gone down. This makes sense as an increase in supply usually means a decrease in prices.
There is however big demand in this first day. For example, at the time of this post, there have already been 33 separate sales for the standard variant of Darth Vader – Twilight of the Apprentice and many of those are for multiples such that 52 individual cards have sold in those transactions.
Another volume example for a chase legendary is the standard variant of Anakin Skywalker – Champion of Mortis. There have been 49 separate sales accounting for 71 individual cards.
