Legendary Prices July 4, 2025
Fireworks hitting the sky tonight and they are not caused by Force Lightning. Although that card is doing some moving as well.
Market Price Total and Average Values
We had to update the vertical axis on our average market price graph to show lower values without having them disappear off the bottom. Hopefully we will start seeing something good next week as Legends of the Force officially releases. Till then, this week is going to continue downwards except for some staple cards and things that may be meta impactful with the fifth set added into the mix.

Oddly the one set to actually move up on average this week was Twilight of the Republic. Almost universally viewed as the weakest set released so far this could be a little shocking. However, it was already down pretty far so maybe it hit some kind of floor with no place to go but up.

** Reminder that the Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the Total and Averages section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.
Top of the Market (Hyperspace and Standard)
Luke’s SOR Hyperspace keeps the top spot for the 13th week in a row and is solidly back over the $50 mark. An interesting move this time around is that the number two card on the list is also Luke Skywalker but in standard variation. Pretty safe bet that this unit, often considered the best in the game, will play a large role in the new Force unit meta and anyone headed to the Galactic Championship should be ready for some Force Blue decks.
Also eyes on you Hyperspace Force Lightning. More on that below.

** Note that the hyperspace variants are only shown in the overall top 10 list as we focus on the standard variants.
Vigilance moving up pretty solidly on the top ten standard variant list is potentially pretty annoying for all the aggro players out there. With FFG trying to push the game towards the mid-range, hopefully there is not too much of an overcorrection.

Winners and Losers
Not a ton of big winners this week, which makes a huge amount of sense given the general trend of the market averages.
The biggest thing missing from the winner list of standard only cards would be Force Lightning.

Oh, here’s Force Lightning on the loser list. What exactly is going on with this card? Well this is simply one pretty low listing at the time we pulled the data this morning and then the price jumps up a bunch to in the $11-12 range. Going from $8 to $11.25 would have actually been a 40% increase putting it near the top of the standard winners this week by percentage and also by dollar increase. Pretty safe bet that this will be a meta impacting card at least initially with LOF entering the mix.

Cheapest
Planetary Invasion remains on “top” and opened up a whopping $0.02 lead this week.

Prerelease Weekend
Hopefully everyone is enjoying long weekend filled with prerelease sealed events and fireworks. (*Except for our non-US based readers that probably don’t have the firework part or the extra day off from work.)
