Box Price Update June 30, 2025

We haven’t posted anything on box prices in a bit, but with a new set about to launch seemed like a decent time to do a quick update…

Spark of the Rebellion is pretty consistently headed up at the moment. Supply of sealed product from the second print run is probably finally drying up. This seems significant in that SOR is only going to be in premier constructed play for two more sets with one of those about to launch. Could mean a few things such as people excited for trilogy and eternal formats, or it could mean that the game has a growing player base and the original set has many staple cards that people would want even in a shortened pre-rotation world.

The other thing we are seeing is that the Legends of the Force carbonite boxes are following a similar path to what we saw with the boxes from Jump to Lightspeed. There have been speculative reports that the LOF boxes are not printed in as high a quantity which if true could play into the pricing in both the short and long term.

Only other thing to note is that Porg Depot has not been capturing the box price data every single day. The daily fluctuations for box prices don’t tend to alter the trajectory of any individual sealed box very much.
