Legendary Prices June 27, 2025
Welcome to the weekly addition of Porg Depot’s bad news about legendary pricing trends. We should probably update the Porgonomics header graphic at this point to show the arrow going the other way.
Market Price Total and Average Values
Well… It’s still bad. We try to spin things in a positive direction as much as possible. It’s getting really quite difficult to keep doing that.
The trend is clearly down. It has been the trend and most likely will continue to be the trend until Legends of the Force is released or significant details emerge related to how the eternal format will be supported for competitive play.

We have not down the below tracking chart by set in a while. Digging this one back up there are a couple glimmers of positivity. Spark of Rebellion for example while on a downward trajectory is still technically higher than where it was when Jump to Lightspeed was released. The other faint piece of good news is that Shadows of the Galaxy has remained relatively stable over a six month period.

** Reminder that the Market Price is where the TCGPlayer algorithm says the price ought to be. Above that price and a card may be overcosted. Below and you could be getting a deal. We are using the market price for the Total and Averages section above, however shift to lowest listed for the sections below.
Top of the Market (Hyperspace and Standard)
Luke’s SOR Hyperspace keeps the top spot for the 12th week in a row. This is in spite of a decent sized drop to go back below the $50 mark. At least he is still one of the two cards solidly in the $40 range… for now.

** Note that the hyperspace variants are only shown in the overall top 10 list as we focus on the standard variants.
Not tons of news at the top of the chart after the hyperspace variants are filtered out. It is nice to see the two chase character cards from the first set at least making some gains over the past week.

Winners and Losers
Darth Vader – Commanding the First Legion and Luke Skywalker – Jedi Knight are the two standard legends that gained over $1.00 this week. Nice to see some Spark of Rebellion staples still holding their own over a year after release. The maybe surprising piece is that they are not moving higher given that they both are tagged with the “Force” trait and Legends of the Force has a bunch of things that have synergies with that. Could still be early of course since we are still weeks away from that set dropping.

Poe Dameron – Quick to Improvise took the biggest hit over the past week. He has places in many decks but has been most prevalent in Sabine aggro setups. That Sabine is getting nearly zero useful cards from the upcoming set could be a reason for her overall meta decline and with that there would be an impact on cards like Poe.

Cheapest
Planetary Invasion remains on “top” as the cheapest legendary card. However it is now tied with The Invasion of Christophis.
DJ has also gotten quite close to the very bottom now. A tremendous fall from grace as he was a $13 card back in January. Amazing what a suspension will do to something.
